At check in the guy checking us in put off the attitude that we were an inconvenience checking in. He "upgraded" us because housekeepers were behind schedule but it was exactly what i had booked off here, a king with a sofa. Once we got to the room it was eh. Kinda dated, you had to slam the door to shut it all the way which it was extremely loud because its metal. There was something that looked like dried spit in the sick and when you turned on the shower it didnt fully stop the bath spicket so there wasnt alot of pressure on the shower. There were big vents right in the ceiling above which CONSTANTLY made a loud buzzing noise which made it hard to sleep. We tried to go to the hot tub which only lasted 5 minutes. There was a hockey turny so alot of 10-12 year olds screaming and rough playing in there which i understand you cant control ither guests behavior, but the two guys working the front desk were in and out of there at least 3 times in those 5 minutes and didnt say anything. Other adult guests asked multiple times. Overall not worth what we paid.

Walking distance to restaurants. Quiet hotel and nice hot tub. Pool is not used in the winter months but looks like it would be great once it opens. Breakfast was decent.

It worked.

Check in was great! The hotel needs some definite upgrades! Our room had a weird odor and the wallpaper / paint was peeling off the wall.
