Minor thing: they need to adjust or replace the door closer on 111. It doesnt latch on casual closing. I think it's catching on the carpet. You have to yank it hard.

Staff was very nice. Beds were clean and comfortable, wooden floors clean, typical continental breakfast. The place shows its age a bit. Our bathtub was dirty with a bunch on dark dirt spots and the shower head is set low. Not good for someone over 6 foot. But plenty of hot water. All in all, good for price.

The hotel is definitely older, some things were damaged such as the pull out bed and obvious water stains in the drywall around the door. My wife and I really enjoyed the stay, the room was clean and staff was nice. I think for the condition and price of the hotel rooms its a great option!

We actually had a great experience at the Cascades Inn! We had never stayed here before & although it’s a more of a motel, it acted more like a 3-4 star hotel! Nicole at the front desk was extremely friendly over the phone prior to our stay & even better in person! Gavin at the Sleepers bar is an amazing mixologist & has a wonderful personality. Room was very clean ‘ the king size bed was comfortable! I will say that we would probably come back here and I would try to book Suite around back with the Cascades Park view. Uber comes to pick you up at the front door, and it’s so close to all activities at Indiana University literally 5 minutes away.

Staff was courteous and easy checking in although she said some things were mixed up on the reservation but she fixed it. It is an older hotel but sheets and bed are clean no bed bugs. Decent water pressure. Bartender friendly but busy since he was the only one in there working. Breakfast was minimal. Totadt bagels bananas apples and yogurt and coffee. There is a McDonald’s across the street just up the road. We did kill one roach in the bathroom but keep in mind there is a ton of vegetation outside and woods nearby. The cost was higher than I would normally pay for a hotel in this category but during games rates are doubled and often tripled so other hotels can cost up to 7-8 a night. They have done work to get this hotel up and going it just needs consistency on maintenance landscaping pest control to make sure it stays running.

I love this place, usually it is quiet but last time on a Saturday night, there were some loud people in the courtyard at 1am. Suddenly, it was quiet again. Love the staff.

We were supposed to get a room with a balcony view but did not. The first night, we were put in a very small room with a view of the storage facility. Awful. I complained and we were moved to a room facing the courtyard but on the ground floor and not the French doors that were in the room I had selected.

The room was wonderful. We hadn't ever stayed on the garden side before, and it is lovely. The only reason I didn't give you a 5-star rating was the breakfast. It used to be so nice and I was surprised that it didn't have anywhere near the same variety or quality of food. The staff was very friendly as usual. We'll stay here again but won't plan on breakfast here next time!
