The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was nice (but could have used a few bananas or apples instead of only an orange) and the pool was clean and refreshing. The beds were comfortable but they needed a few smaller pillows and the shower had plenty of water pressure with a massaging head, which was nice.

Room smelled like pee a little, might have been what they used to clean with. I did like the fact that they cleaned room while we were away. Overall I enjoyed mynstay and will definitely book again.

Check in clerk could have been a bit more pleasant. Blind did not shut completely so light shined in all night. Rust on bathtub. Great value for the money and the breakfast was great.

Very relaxing

I couldn’t have picked a better hotel. If you’re looking to relax, this was the perfect location. 20 mins from the airport, 30 mins from New Orleans, 1 hour from Baton Rouge. It was far enough away to be relaxing but close enough to enjoy everything around.

Kinda terrible room conditions

Unfortunately it was pretty terrible. First the WIFI wasn't working in that room -too far from the router - they offered me another room -but a dog was barking like crazy across the hall that was left alone in the room. So I opted for sleep over wifi -even though I had an important conference call to attend in the morning. Then, the first towel I found had several large holes in it -so I took it to the front desk. Then as I was getting ready to get into bed and pulled the comforter back it was shredded with HUGE holes all around the edges- especially at the top. Then I found two large holes on the sheet on that bed as well! I called the front desk and Rachel come up and took photos. It was midnight by now. In the morning -the wifi was still too weak to use in the room, so I went to the breakfast area 30 minutes after they closed breakfast to do the call (as the receptionist had suggested) but the cleaning person decided to not just clean -but right up next to me and very loudly even though I was tucked away in the corner from the main area. I asked her to give me 10 more minutes -she said sure -but then kept cleaning -even louder. The hotel agreed the situation wasn't good -but because I booked on hotels.com they couldn't give me a refund -but gave me points on their hotels website if I signed up -which turns out to be a fairly small amount. Pretty terrible stay -but..the front desk women I dealt with were very kind to address the issues to the best of their ability.
