Pillows were dirty. No room service. Main hall to the pool consistently smelled of Marijuana. Bathroom door did not close. Balcony door lock was broke. The toilet seat belonged in a skid row gas station. Won't make this mistake again. Lesson learned.

They could not find my reservation so we had to downgrade. They only had biscuits and gravy, apples, and waffles. The rooms are outdated. Shower curtain and bar in shower not attached well.

Stay Away !

The place is located in a good spot, but its old and dirty, the carpet looks like have not been washed in decades, the room smells, the fridge in our room has not been clean or open and had mold and smell so bad, we did not use it and inform the front desk and nothing happen. The Wi-Fi never work, the breakfast was so bad, the mix for the waffles was so watery it did not even cook right LOL! so were the grits, yiak! Stay away, or if you don't mind, go, because its cheap.

Mad as hell

I will never stay at another Howard Johnson, we rented a three bed room on the bottom floor. When we got there they informed us theirs were all on the top floor, we are three senior citizens and I asked for bottom floor. 3 weeks before we went I wrote the hotel to get assurance that it was on the bottom floor. No response!!! The Weeknd before ours my daughter went to the hotel to double-check and make sure everything was good and they told her yes everything was ready. We could not have done anything else to assure it!! Thanks to hotel.com for returning the money I've already paid because the hotel never did instead we stayed in two rooms at the hotel next door to Howard Johnson, they bent over backwards to get us two rooms together the whole point was (it was a mother and two daughters trip) we paid $303 for your hotel. We ended up having to pay $596 because all hotels were booked. The manager finally came in 30 minutes after the fact she answered the phone told hotels.com they could refund me and never said a word to me!!! I will never stay again and I will make sure to tell everybody I know not to stay there. I've traveled all over this country and this hotel in Branson was the worst I've ever had. The girl at the checkout blamed a new person for all of it, so they're training obviously does not work. I have never been treated the way I was but this hotel in Branson.
