We were very disappointed with our stay in Room #1206 in the Antero building. The unit did not match the photos shown on Expedia and fell far below expected standards.
The bedroom carpet and furniture looked dirty, and a food wrapper was found on the floor. The room was poorly lit, and unnecessary extra furniture made the small space feel cramped. The wooden bedframe was a safety hazard—both my husband and I hit the sharp corners, and I was left with a bruise.
The bathroom also felt unsafe. The bathtub had no non-slip surface, and the sliding glass door did not track securely. The dining table was worn, and the living room furniture looked extremely old and unclean. I did not get to enjoy the living room at all because it did not feel clean enough to sit on the furniture.
The only positive feature was the rocking chairs on the balcony, the mountain view, and skiing.
Note - This is the first time I've ever rated a 1 star and I have travelled for many, many years between business and personal.
There are plenty of other condos/villages to stay in Breckenridge.
