Wonderful stay at The Grand.

Such a lovely hotel and perfect location. Friendly staff and what looks to be recently renovated rooms. We had a fab trip to Brighton and the hotel was the perfect location.

Very comfortable stay, perfect location in Brighto

Besutiful hotel. Cleanliness is extremely important for me - The Grand can not be faulted. Air conditioning in bedroom a bit tricky to get right. A double room but actually 2 single beds pushed together. Some people might prefer a "proper" double, worth checking that before booking.

We had a great time Staff so welcoming and friendly. Nothing too much Parts of the corridors very shabby but still chic Our room had a side sea view Superb So big, modern with a twist. Loved the decor and the bathroom to die for Only small criticism is I would like more towels and toiletries Also the bed and pillows were so hard The window was not double glazed and we could hear the traffic outside all night but I am assuming as it is an old build doubled glazed is not an option Just bring ear plugs We had a wonderful stay and would only want to stay at the Grand when visiting Brighton Looking forward to my next stay already

Brilliant stay, wonderful staff.

Our first stat at the Grand and it was brilliant. I booked a junior suite and it was gorgeous. My daughter loved the novelty that she could relax in a bubble bath, in the bedroom, whilst watching a film, and looking out at sea. The best part was how nice the staff were. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left they couldnt do more. Every staff member was incredibly happy, professional and knowledgeable. Food was delicious. Also, I pre ordered the chocolate covered strawberries as a treat, and not only were they delicious, but possibly the biggest strawberries ive ever seen! We will 100% be coming back.

We booked a junior suite sea view which in the Grand Hotel website pictures shows a sofa and chairs and a bath tub looking out over the sea. What we got was a basic room not a suite. No sofa. We were told the refurbished rooms didn’t have baths. The manager was less than empathetic and spoke in condescending tones. She offered a free drink at the bar as we complained the room looked nothing like the pictures. Frankly very disappointing and we felt ripped off after paying £500 for the night for a simple room not as advertised. And the free drink never materialised. This hotel is three stars in my opinion based on facilities and service.

For this trip I was a solo female traveler who decided to treat myself to a king with a sea view, but presumably since the hotel wasn't super populated in February, I was upgraded to the junior suite! Having that balcony (even in Feb) was such a delight I think I'd just purchase that in the first place in future. Room service was great, staff was great, and location was amazing. I will be back.
