Not your business Style Hotel experience

TBF : Room is clean and bed is big n nice. Powerful shower. Problems 1.Transport not convenient. 2.Reception a bit reluctant to help, never experienced in other countries and Holiday Inn groups we call this unprofessional, except one nice young man at reception inside swimming pool .Feel free styles maybe. 3.Starbucks services is obviously not as expected if it belongs to as part of the hotel standard. But if its not under the management of Holiday Inn, then its just a Starbucks s problem. (TBF .) THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED. We got a cup of ice coffee and found that its too sweet, first we ask to add some water into the coffee, but it ruined the taste of it and we feel that why we have to suffer that ? And the staff didn't do anything to correct the problems and not asking whats went wrong and just ignored and like none of their business. This standard of service is not expected even in a small town store and this happened in Holiday Inn which make it even more worst. First time experience in UK , not even in the busy London city , Oxford , Other part of the Bristol or Brighton etc.. including hotels and Starbucks. And Never compare to Japan.

We absolutely loved our second stay here , it was even better than we remembered. Friendly staff , lovely gardens surrounding with ponds & a pool with sauna & swimming included in your stay price .

Wrong size sofa bed

I booked family room with a double bed and a double sofa bed, but the room I stayed has a double bed and a single sofa bed. I didn’t realize until I wake up in the morning and change my booking details.

Excellent overnight stay

First impressions great (even though roadworks on main road, turning to hotel well sign-posted). Friendly welcome explaining the facilities, easy to book parking and lovely to have nice bar/coffee area to relax in. Comfortable chairs and good range of drinks and snacks. Standard double room with king sized bed provided an excellent nights sleep and peaceful setting so refreshed the next day. We took a little stroll around the fishing lake at the back which was beautiful and calm. Overall a very enjoyable stay, highly recommended and convenient for the local attractions.

Although looking like you’d arrived in some post apocalyptic horror movie when you drive into the car park once inside the property all looked modern and clean. Even had a view of bunnies and geese from the window of our room. Staff were welcoming and complimentary snacks and water in the room made for a delightful stay visiting friends locally.
