The bath and shower were both really good, as was the bed. However, it was hard to sleep due to lights that shone outside from the verandah into the bedroom - even with the blackout curtains closed.

I stayed because it had a high rating, but it seems no different than the motels in the area and nothing superior about it. So that can be a let down and make a person feel like they have been duped. It is a clean and tidy room the same size and quality as an average motel room.

I could not fault this property, we advised we would arrive late, we were provided lock box information and on arrival to our room the light was left on and the heating was on. The room was serviced each day and were plenty of towels and fresh milk every day. We will definitely stay here for our next visit to Christchurch
