The only thing I like is the size of the room and maybe the front desk staff. He's nice and professional. This is like a motor hotel, the door is facing the parking lot. The pool is closed and under renovation. The place is old and run down. The furnitures look like they were picked up from a dumpster. Totally NOT like in the pictures. Scratches and stains all over the cabinets and walls. The surrounding area looks shady and neglected. That's why this property is rated 6.6 in Expedia. This is the first time I'm trying a rating lower than 8. I learned my lesson. Good thing we're just staying for one night, just need a place to crash. Never again.

Where do I start? DIRTY!!!! Staff the DID NOT CARE! Manager who told me he could get rid of cigarettes smell with a spray! COME ON! Would not move my room for me even though I said I had allergies to the smoke .... I can't simply say enough how BAD this was

Terrible experience. Overbooked did not room we requested. 4 of us and they only provided 2 towels, no pillows for pull out couch and they wouldn't provide any. Toilet broken and told to use lobby restroom until next day when maintenance would be in. Staff had no sympathy just said they couldn't help us. Expected 4 adults to walk or drive during the night from a separate building to use the bathroom. Had to fight to get refund. Will never stay here again. Just horrible. Door in bathroom wouldn't close either. They wouldn't refund the first night even though we left at midnight for another hotel.

My stay here was short and has become a nightmare without accountability. I ended up leaving immediately after seeing my room. I knew right away there was going to be a problem when I saw a fan blowing on the floor - the place was unbearably hot due to a broken air conditioner, a major problem during the July heat. It also had a pervasive cigarette smoke smell. I was also concerned about my safety, as the window screens were bent back, and the bed was badly stained. When I brought these issues to the staff's attention, they did not offer me an alternative room. It was either stay in what they readily acknowledged was a subpar room, or pay to stay somewhere else. I took the latter option, but the hotel has not been forthcoming with my request for a refund, even though I did not and could not stay the night. Avoid at all costs, this place is terrible.

No breakfast which was disappointing. The rooms are in a circular format with several buildings, one is given a map to find your room. The interior was nice with a large fridge, tv, & mini kitchen.

My original room that was not booked was unavailable, we still had a pull out sofa. The mattress of the sofa was so dirty, no extra linens were provided for sofa. My son slept on the sofa, not the bed part. We used a blanket we had in the car. The room had an awful smell, kitchen cabinets were empty, no utensils or plates, one towel in the bathroom. Our door unlocked after about 20 swipes. This was our 5th time staying here, I’m sad about how bad it is now. We will not be back.

We arrived at the Sonesta Suites Cleaveland Airport [ 17525 Rosbough Dr. Middleburg Heights, OH.] on July 19th at 2-30 PM and checked in at the front desk at 3-00 pm, receiving Room #1211.Upon entering, we found the air conditioning unit running at top speed with no option to adjust it,, a kitchen cabinet door hanging off its hinges , a loose and flimsy shower rod, and a toilet thst was not functioning due to a faulty flush valve, The entire toilet unit was loose on its floor mountings. At 3-00 PM , we returned to the front desk, and the assistant manager assigned us to second room, 1511. However , upon inspection, we found similar conditions; No light in the kitchen fridge, with the bulb socket hanging loose,another toilet with a very loose and skakey toilet tanl, and a shower rod in the same poor conditionas the previous room, Overall, the general apperance of both units would not meet the standard of the top of any 3 - star hotel or motelwe have stayed at before. Additionally , we were charged a $ 100-00 damage deposit that was not indicated on the Expedia website, and although breakfast was noted on Expedia, the front deck staff informed us that no breakfast was available. We requested that the front desk [ a different manager this time] cancel our reservation, which was carried out with an opology for the inconvenience.We now look forward to the reimbursement of the initial paid amount of $ 351.42 CAD, along with the $ 100.00 damage deposit, for a total of $ 451.
