The food was not great with the exception of the hibachi restaurant. My bed was so hard that my hips are bruised. The check-in process was way too slow. But, i loved the location and the bars served great drinks.

It’s a good place if you looking something calm and family friendly. So relax and the rooms are pretty good. Drinks are ok, the buffet it’s good, sometimes I was needing something more but again, for price and package is a good deal. The beach is beautiful! So calms and relax. Clean room, same with the bathroom.

This is my 2nd stay at this resort. Great for family vacation! Property is beautiful landscaping & mesmerizing sandy beach & pier. Easy to set up for any excursions on site for pick up on pier for scuba, snorkeling, paragliding ect. Restaurants Italian & Hibachi were excellent! Recommend upgrading to premium level for access to Santa Rosa lounge for exclusive Breakfast, Lunch & snacks. Enjoyed our vacation, 🌴

There were quite a lot of mosquitoes, and it was a bit uncomfortable probably related to the time of year we visited, but the hotel should still consider a solution. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, but the sound insulation could be better. During my previous visit, the buffet had more food options. The beach and pool were nice, I really liked them. The daytime beach and pool activities were enjoyable. Overall, I’d rate it 7.5 out of 10.

I don't consider myself much of a resort guy, but I wanted to unplug for a week and just focus on diving, and this resort allowed me to do just that. Food aplenty, drinks for those who are into that, a nice, clean, little fitness room. My only reservation would be around how thin the walls are. If you have loud neighbors like I did, your nights won't be super-peaceful.

Overall the property is nice and quiet, good family vacation spot. One of the best mature beach areas around, very picturesque! You feel safe letting your older kids venture around. Great tiny kid’s pool area, not so much for the older one’s. Short boat ride to snorkel, swim with turtles, stingrays or just relax in the most beautiful lagoon. If you scuba, then definitely the place to be. Book the premium side for more amenities, and enjoy!

Staff was nice, decent buffet and entertainment. Book the flight to Cozumel! Don’t do Cancún like it recommended us. No fault of the property tho. Also, lack of planning on my part. Just a long trip there after a long flight.

The following is a list of issues I had during my stay. I was given a room with one bed when I reserved a room with 2 beds. Also, in this first room, the ceiling was all spotted with brown stuff and the drippings landed on the bedspread. When I mentioned that we were given the wrong room they tried to accommodate by giving me a twin size bed for the night. The next morning they made us remove our belongings which were not secured. I had to continue checking with the staff about the availability of the other room. Meanwhile my 87 year father and I didn't have a room to go back to rest during the day and had to carry a lot of our stuff with us. This was very frustrating. I felt horrible for my father who needed a cool place to relax. We didn't get the room until about 4 p m and only because I kept checking with staff and insisting. Another concern was that the room was very slippery because of condensation. I was very nervous that my father might slip and fall. Other concerns: hey do not provide washcloths. We had a very difficult time trying to reserve dinner at different restaurants.They were supposedly full when we reserved but when we arrived they were not even halfway full. Couldn't order Tbone steak because their "saw" was broken? They ran out of "towel" cards? We came during the Iron man competition so I understand there was a lot of confusion but they definitely needed more staff.The staff that was doing registration was also handling minor questions. We really enjoyed our stay at Allegro! The staff was fantastic and so kind! Arbey Aguilar and Diego and Diego really made the activities fun, we enjoyed to new games everyday. From Volleyball (beach and pool) to bingo. It was fun and enjoyable. It was also great to speak with Arbey for a minute and get to know him while things were a little slow. We also enjoyed a couples massage Yucelmi and Alejandra. They worked so hard to make our experience relaxing and therapeutic. We also visited Sophia in the fish spa! That was a new experience for us. And she was so sweet and fun to talk to.
