Just no

The hotel pool has been out of commission since October. Why isn’t that noted on the website? The hot tub was completely gone. The hallways are hotter than can be believed. The “breakfast room” was disappointing at best. The power kept flickering. You couldn’t use the toaster without throwing the breaker. The beds were comfortable and the deck area was cute. The staff was friendly but they’re very obviously understaffed. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. The entire place smelled terrible, and the carpet reeked and felt filthy. It looked more like a rundown motel than a proper hotel—cheap and neglected. The smell was so bad it felt suffocating. Definitely would not recommend.

The hotel itself was fine. However, the only reason we picked this particular Hotel was that it advertised having a pool. When we arrived we found that the pool was out of order due to issues with the roof, but at that point we had already paid and it was non-refundable so we were stuck. It's a big complaint was that we didn't have anything to do all night because our entire plan was swimming. It was clean enough everyone was nice enough the breakfast was nice enough.

Lots of little red ants in the room; once they sprayed, we did not see any more. Baseboards need caulked in bathroom. Paint peeling on the ceiling in the bathroom. Mattress needs replaced, it sinks from use, pillows are too thin. Overall, the room was clean, and it did not smell. Check in area is nice and cool, the hallways are way, way too hot and not inviting. Breakfast was not replenished and there was a 1/2 hour left until it closed. The person working did not seem concerned and was not readily available. Not all the food in heating containers was hot; glad there was a microwave. I did like the waffle maker, and it worked well.

The hotel had a musty smell in the rugs, the shower curtain was too small and the pool was out of order in the middle of summer. The website still advertised that they had a pool. I would have never booked if I knew that the pool was out of order.

Our stay was great. The only thing that was n to fixed was the stopper in the sink did not work but was operable. Any time we needed extra items they made it work. The fridge was not working at first so they gave us the keys of another room so we would have a fridge. They also discounted the price for each day. Overall a great stay and we would stay at this hotel again. The staff were excellent. They found a medical device in our room that we left behind and they called my wife to let her know and arranged for delivery of the item. Above beyond the call of duty. George

The outside of the hotel looked nice. Plenty of parking. Lobby is nice. But when we went into the building I was really scared about how the room would be because it was hot and stuffy and the carpet had tons of stains and was really worn, the hallway walls were dirty, doors to the rooms were not flush with the floor. Not nice. BUT the room was nice and clean and had different carpet. Sheets seemed clean/ comforter nice. Bathroom clean. Great price. Got a later checkout no problem and the one night stay was affordable. They were doing renovations in another area of the hotel- hopefully they have plans to do the whole hotel.
