the red fort and jama masjid are within walking distance and there are vendors everywhere. the room was quiet and the air conditioning was powerful. I slept like a rock. the food down stairs was first rate some of the best i had in the country. i wish i had stayed longer

Haveli Dharampura has all the charm you might dream of for a comfortable experience in the heart of Old Delhi. The restored Haveli is beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable, with modern bathrooms. Meals are served in a courtyard, where musicians play (sitar, drums, wooden flute) during lunch and dinner; dinner sometimes has a dance performance. The food is very good and you can feel assured of its quality. Just before sunset the staff hosts lessons in kite fighting on the rooftop patio. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. It is an expensive hotel, but delightful. The minute I stepped through the (ornate) doorway I was charmed.

Amazing property in the middle of Chandni Chowk. The property has old charm, very friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms with a lot of character. Dinner experience at the hotel was great...good food and nice live performances in the evening. Service was top notch always. The streets in and around are narrow, busy and not very clean but have years of history. Will definitely stay here next time I am in Delhi/Chandni Chowk area.
