Great location right at the entrance to the park and restaurant is outstanding. Rooms were clean and comfortable although be aware a lot of bus tours stay here too.

Wonderful time!

Loved our stay! Staff was super helpful with tips on what to do in the area and super friendly. Only drag…. Was the shuttle service. Shuttles were often full. And seems each property needs its own shuttle instead of having Grande Lodge guests having to stop at the Bluffs every time.

I was told the view of the valley was beautiful, ours was of the parking lot. The king room was big enough for 2 chairs and a table but there was a lone chair. The coffee maker and refrig were nice but otherwise pretty bare boned. The staff were all very nice. I guess i just expected more Grande.

We stayed two nights here and had a great experience. The staff was super helpful and friendly and answered all of our questions. The room was really well kept and actually looked to be recently renovated. This place has VIEWS!! Also, the bus tour out of Denali will pick you up here instead of having to drive to the transportation center and park which is really convenient. We were very happy to have chosen this property. The signs on the road up the hilll are worth the drive, lol.

Our stay GDL was average… Really thought I should be able to get a coffee and breakfast item at the lobby… our tours were scheduled to leave early morning and no breakfast or coffee was available… with the rates we paid that was a disappointment. The room was clean and very pleasant We had dinner at the restaurant and our meals were delicious and well above our expectations.. Colin was our waiter and was outstanding . We had a small hiccup in our room and Paul from maintenance was very punctual and pleasant had us up and running very quickly Front desk manager was a 10 she was sooo helpful and went above and beyond helping us get checked in Im being honest and taking the time to fill out the survey I’m also in business and the only way to improve is to be aware of issues that arise Thanks Keith Meyer 402 560 2107

Information regarding the shuttle services as not clear. I was told K2 avaition had a pickup at the hotel (not true). Also, the bus to the railroad was a different bus (large motor coach) than the regular shuttle, with no placard telling riders this - several of us almost didn't get on because we were waiting for the smaller shuttle with the Grande Denali name on it. We thought the large motor coach was a private tour.

Basic room updated quiet and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel did not provide daily housekeeping. Nice views. Hotel sits on a bluff above the town, a car was helpful but transportation is available. Coffee bar in the lobby had snacks and pleasant staff. For dinner I would not recommend the onsite restaurant, food quality doesn’t match prices.

Denali - [ ] Check-in was quick - The view was fantastic! - [ ] Con: At check-in time, directions were rattled off quickly of tags for bags going to train, so asked for repeat. - [ ] Con: no additional information given or a sheet about anything. Would have been helpful to know there are walking trails to get down to bluffs and gas station area if you want or if you miss a shuttle - [ ] Shuttle schedule was nice to get to Denali Visitor Center or Shopping area at the bottom of the hill. CON: Schedule was not pointed out until we asked - [ ] No information about anything was in the room or handed to us etc. Shuttle schedule, restaurant hours, times for buying drinks/ food in their lobby or any helpful information about the area. - [ ] Restaurant was open until 10 PM. We arrived in the restaurant at 9:40– First we were told we would have to sit at the bar. Then another girl said we could sit at the table with the view. View was great, would have been beer

Older building but they've done a nice job trying to keep it updated. They get bus loads of tourists so check in could be tricky. Restaurants over priced compared to places down off the highway with less options and lower quality food so if you have a car drive two minutes away.
