The day was good. The staff was great. The breakfast was adequate. However, my room was not clean. Looked like the carpet had not been vacuumed. There was dental floss, laying on the floor from the previous people. The water glasses had not been changed.

2 stars for front desk staffing and maid service. The property appears to be understaffed. Those who are working are very good and nice but their ability to serve guests in a timely manner was not good. Many times the cleaning service had to be asked, late in the day, to please clean the room. And several times phone calls to the front desk went unanswered. Overall, the property is newer and clean but not exceptional.

Located in the up-and-coming (or come and gone already?) Belmar neighborhood of SW Denver, this Lakewood property is well-staffed, clean and bright, with a trendy Happy Hour (advertised) each day. The "All doors are locked all the time" admonition implies that the neighborhood is a bit sketch(y). The Good News: there's a large Target across the back parking lot, if you forget anything. :)
