We have stayed here many times, and it’s usually a great stay. This time, the fireplace didn’t work (and was part of the reason I booked the room) and the television in the living are don’t work because someone had stolen the HD cable. The power went out due to high winds outside. That was not the hotel’s issue, of course, but I thought perhaps the outage on top of our other issues would have resulted in some kind of apology or future amenity, however, check out was just a “thanks for staying with us.”

We really wanted to love this hotel but it needs some attention. Bathrooms in the rooms had mold all over the ceilings. There are no exhaust systems in the bathrooms. They tried to tape up the wallpaper in the hallway. Carpet is old and bunched. Rooms were super dark and out dated.

Got a call few hours before check in we had to move from the cottage to the main building due to no hot water. The room we were given was small with a whirlpool. I was disappointed we weren’t given something that was about the same as the king theme cottage with the whirlpool and fireplace we had paid for. The hotel was empty so I’m unsure on why we didn’t get a better room than a standard king room.
