The property is unique and has great antiques, including a WWII plane you can take a look into! The lobby has a great fireplace surrounded by old salon/barber chairs, very cool! Friendly staff and lovely grounds. The room was spacious. The only critique is that the electricity was odd and we could not figure out how to keep our chargers on when the lights weren’t. Nice pool area too. I would return.

We knew that we were not booking a 4 star and above hotel when we booked it. We booked it for the themed suites and to see what that was all about. It is What you would expect in an old hotel. It looks like it was made from a barn. The different rooms were cool. The pool in the hot tub worked and were nice. They need to not have the liquid air freshener running in the lobby all the time. It's very, very strong.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The Sherwood Forest room is the room we had and it was amazing. We will be back next year to check out another room. Its so peaceful and quiet. The check in was fast and easy. Not the best hot breakfast but it's all good. Can't wait for next year

This stay isn't for everyone, but we had a great time. The Don Q is dated, but steeped in history. The help was pleasant, room clean and bed comfortable. History abounds and the hope for it to return, at least partly, to it's former glory will bring us back. There would be a great opportunity for the owners to take advantage of this selling memorabilia like t-shirts, postcards etc. If you're looking for 5 stars, this isn't for you, if you want to add to a quirky adventure to House on the Rock, this may be the ticket.

The owners were super nice and very accommodating. However the place is super old and falling apart. Scenery was nice and the themed room was fun but afraid of things falling apart. Also the breakfast was gross probably best to order or go out for breakfast.

The property was being renovated and it was raining hard and cold. However, there is a C-97 plane parked out front that can be explored. And the inside of the hotel is rustic with many charming and beautiful features.

The property is a very unique one, the large airplane that you can go inside in the front of the building was very neat, the themed rooms were very cool. The staff was very, very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast in the morning was good. Will definitely stay again when back in the area

We stayed in the cave room, and it was THE COOLEST thing ever! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was available and it was fairly quiet when we went. Pool and hot tub were available. The room itself was absolutely perfect. The bed was comfortable and the room was exactly as pictured. The lock on the door was electronic which made us feel safe.

reading reviews talked about the smell. It's an old wood smell, I have smelt it before in other old wood(inside) places. The jet tub was WAY big and great. Water was very hot, fridge froze food, no microwave in room. Room was large enough you could of had others sleeping on like a pull out couch. I loved that. It needs a lot of upgrades since things are ageing in the room (pealing wall paper) but otherwise I will go again. The person that checked us in was very friendly and answered our questions about the air plane in the yard like he couldn't wait to tell you, so it was nice. Not far from house on the rock which is where we went and also not far from an amazing BBQ place called Bobs Bitchen' BBQ! There are other places, McD, Subway and so forth. Try this place out!
