State of the art architecture , hospitality , Gold Souk, tours , all types of excellent cuisine available for all tastes , transportation facilities were very easily available - private taxi, bus tours, train links . We found the speed on the highways on the high side and was concerning at times? We also felt there was a lot of pushing - no courtesy for others - lack of etiquette? Also due to new facilities being built we felt that there were hazardous regions that were inadequately marked especially on the safari tours where my elderly father slipped and hurt himself ? However he was quickly helped by the safari attendants and is OK. Our room suffered from water leakage that needed attending to on 3 occasions ?

The single most important comment I would single out is the incredible team of people. I work in luxury hospitality security, I pick up on the small detail. The operations team particularly within F&B really were very welcoming, knowledge, super helpful and very professional.

This is the BEST hotel experience I’ve had in my life! The staff is the best. We met James on arrival who helped open the taxi door, helped with our bags, assisted us to the room. Our entire stay he was always available to help with anything we needed. He advised us about attractions and everything we needed to know. Sylvia at the front desk was warm and inviting. She made sure we got a very good room with views to die for. She was able to answer questions we had. I got a Spa gift for my birthday which was a nice offer. Every single staff member had a smile and always offered help even when we didn’t need it. Dining room staff were nice as well. JW Marriott Marquis Dubai owes us nothing except a trip back.
