This is a review for the CHECK OUT on the 4th of Jan. Not the stay or the check in. The check in was seen less and done by a gentleman. This review is for the female agent who did my check out on the 4th. Really bad service. She was huffing and puffing and felt reluctant to even help me out. Like it was a chore. Sorry but I have spent so many nights at the Taj JLT and spent thousands of dollars in the process. Some decent service is not possible? Really disappointing. The hotel should value their loyal Customers more. Sorry. I will rethink about staying here again.

Note there is currently construction ongoing, so half of the rooms view a property that is being built. We were “upgraded” to a room that, while nice, looked onto the construction site so it didn’t feel like an upgrade at all. Regardless, the rooms are beautiful and service is exceptional. I would stay again, but I’d request a room with the golf view next time.

I reserve five-star reviews for situations where I don’t need to ask for anything. I will start with minor issues to end on a positive note. The balcony suite that I booked was not ready. I was quietly ushered into an “upgraded” suite without a balcony which I refused. When the room was finally ready, there was no glassware. The Club Lounge closed too early. The staff resolved all issues promptly (except for the early closure of the Club Lounge). The breakfast buffet was more than adequate.

I had a very disappointing experience at Taj Jumeirah. As a UAE national, I expected to be welcomed with respect and professionalism. Instead, I was treated in a dismissive and condescending way, which felt discriminatory and unworthy of a brand like Taj. Hospitality in the UAE is built on respect and equality, and unfortunately, this property failed to reflect those values. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains their staff to treat all guests with dignity.
