Beware what room you book! I booked a Deluxe Room and it was a dungeon with no windows. They would not let me switch rooms as they claimed I booked a Deluxe Interior Room but there was no mention of this in the listing. I am surprised it is legal to have a hotel room without windows for fire safety purposes.

Amazing hotel with great character and history! Well appointed rooms, beautifully decorated, excellent location and walkability, including 1 block from Five Flags Center. Historic, good location

We stayed at the Julien Hotel for one night to attend a concert at the Five Flags Center, which is one to two blocks away. The hotel is a lovely historic hotel. No complaints.

Beautiful hotel

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and have always enjoyed the service. It’s an iconic older hotel but it is in fantastic shape. They do not skimp on amenities. The only downfall was the pillows on the bed that were rock hard and flat.

Gotta stay here

We have stayed at this hotel several times and always enjoy it. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the restaurant on site is wonderful. The pillows on the beds are awful though that would be my only complaint.
