We loved our stay at the Hampton. We had 2 adults and 2 kids and an infant. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of offerings. The view of the lake from our room the morning was awesome. They were doing some updating in the hallways it looked like, but the property was clean all around. It was very clear that the sheets were clean as they smelled faintly of bleach, but I was more than ok with that. My only gripe was we were in room 141 and the central air unit was right outside of our room and it made a very loud noise for a few minutes every couple of hours. I did let staff know as we left.

We enjoyed the local brewery nearby... very unique. We loved walking around the downtown area, the pier and the bridge. So cool to see the big ships coming in. Within the hotel, we enjoyed the gym, pool and excellent breakfast. Room was comfortable, quiet and bathroom was very nice.

In town for the Festival of Sails so Canal Park was extremely busy. Hotel staff was accommodating and pleasant, the hotel was clean and very busy. Breakfast area was always neat even with heavy traffic. Our room with a view of Lake Superior was perfect.
