Gulls Nest Beach House

4BR / 2BA - K, Q, K, 2S - Vuodepaikkoja 8 - Lyhyt kävelymatka ~ 100 metriä kadun toisella puolella rannalle! Klassinen Edisto Beachin mökki, jossa on mäntyseinät, lattiat ja katot. Kun astut merinäköalaan, voit kuunnella kuistia, jossa on paljon istumapaikkoja ja jopa ruokailutila. Näytön kuistin vieressä on ovi, jossa on aurinkoterassi, josta on myös merinäköala. Kuistilta pääset kodin olohuoneeseen. Ruokailutila ja suuri ruokasali, jossa on aamiaisbaari ja ulosteet, yhdistyvät asuintilaan. Suuren huoneen oikealle puolelle on makuuhuone, jossa on king-size-vuode. Kodin tuolilla sijaitsevassa salissa on kylpyamme, jossa on suihkukaappi ja toinen makuuhuone, jossa on queen-vuode. Ominaisuuden vasemmalla puolella on kolmas makuuhuone, jossa on 2 yhden hengen vuodetta ja merinäköala. Ruokailutilan vieressä on neljäs makuuhuone, jossa on king-size-vuode ja ovi yhdistävään kylpyammeeseen. Tämä kylpy avautuu myös kodin keskiosaan. Pesutupa on keittiön vieressä.

Mukava rantamökki loistavalla paikalla Ediston rannalla! Muita mukavuuksia ovat aurinkoterassi talon takana. Talon alla on betonityyny grillaukseen tai vain hengailuun sekä suuri suljettu ulkosuihku. Internet-palvelut ovat käytettävissä.
Pienet lemmikkieläimet ovat sallittuja. Tupakointi kielletty, ei sänkyä ja kylpyhuonetta. Ei puhelinta.
Tämä loma-asunto sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Edisto Beach State Park. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkailleen esimerkiksi pyykinpesutilat. Loma-asunnossa tarjoaa asiakkaille keittiön ja 2 kylpyhuonetta.

We enjoyed our time at this pet-friendly cabin. Excellent location-right across the road from beach access. The screened in porch and open deck (with ocean view) were our favorite spots.

Great location!!! The house was okay……. None of the fan lights actually worked and the “beds made” was just a blanket on top of a mattress protector. Thought it was an error but every bed was the same way. The kitchen was great and fully stocked. From the porch you can easily watch the ocean.

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything. The coffee pot had coffee grounds in it. It rained the whole time during the days we were down there which I know no one can help that it just needs some updating. I think windows would be good on the front porch because it was raining and cold while we were there we like sitting out there, but it was very cold. I would probably rent again . It was a good view of the beach. It was great to be able to take the pet with us.

The house is old but sanitation is non-negotiable. The mop was leaning against the dining table when we arrived but the floor in that area was not mopped. The refrigerator was filthy and we had to clean it before placing food in it. The counters in the kitchen were dirty and had to be wiped down. It was bad to the point that I ask for some compensation from the manager. He wanted to send cleaners in the FOLLOWING DAY to clean and evaluate the situation. We weren’t going to stay in those unsanitary conditions. We took care of it. One of our group has COPD. Because of weather conditions, we spent a lot of time in the house. His conditions worsened and we left in the afternoon prior to our final day. There was no offer of compensation.

This is my third or fourth time at this house. I love the older charm. The knotty pine walls and the size is perfect. The kitchen is great. The front screened in porch and deck have ocean view and it's so relaxing.

Bought this stay for my parents as a Christmas present. Was a big mistake. They left a night early. Apparently they do not clean this house. Mold, coffee grounds in the coffee pot from previous tenants. I was charged a cleaning fee when it seems there is not a crew that upkeeps it. Very disappointed in VRBO letting this house stay on rental status. It’s a hazard. My parents have photos of all of it. Even the vents for AC are molded, including the filter in the return that hasn’t been changed in who knows how long. I never leave reviews but I am baffled I wasted my money. I would stay elsewhere.

Exactly what we were looking for in a classic beach house - comfortable, clean, and laid back. Everything we needed was provided for which contributed to a wonderful visit. The front porch with the ocean view was my favorite part of the house. Will definitely rent again!

We had wonderful time staying at this property. Easy walking distance to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. I would stay here again. Can see beach from kitchen island. Furniture was a bit dated especially in the living room, but for the price we weren’t too concerned.

We enjoyed our stay at Gull’s nest. We ended our stay a day early, because of the rain, not the house. There is 2 things that are worth mentioning, the beds/mattresses could really use an upgrade. They are really hard which made it a little difficult to sleep. We had to locate the sheets to put on the beds. We were only left 4 towels for 8 people for the week. We had to go buy towels. So you may want to bring your own. Which is fine, I just didn’t know. The parking is a bit limited but we made do. Overall, it was a very nice stay and we would stay again. Thank you

Worst rental in 15 years...

30 minutes before our arrival, we received a message that there was a plumbing leak under the house. One of the two bathrooms in the house was out of commission the entire week. 8 people with one bathroom for 7 nights? Not ideal. We were told on several occasions that the maintenance guy would be there "the next day" to repair the leak. Never happened. Underneath the bathroom that was usable, there lived a family of some type of animal that scratched constantly on the bottom of the bathtub. Gaps in the subfloor under the house were large enough for a small child to crawl through. Just glad whatever it was never breached the walls. On our next to last day, the AC went out early morning. 85 degrees inside all day. Maintenance guy shows up around dusk to check it out. He finds a 6 foot snakeskin in the HVAC drain pan. WTH? I don't nitpick about small issues, and I've never written a review for a rental before, but this place was a disaster.

Don’t do it!!

We went three days with a broken toilet. The property manager respond right away but the issue didn’t get resolved for three days. When the repairman came he said he knew the toilet was broken before we checked in. He said he was installing two toilets, but only did one. We had a screen door on the front porch but when the repairman left so did the screen door. In his defense, the screen was hanging out the frame. I know this is a pet friendly house. We didn’t have a pet but there was FLEAS! We didn’t see any live roaches but did find some dead ones. We had a storm one night and discovered 2 broken windows in the bedroom which probably played a huge roll in why the bedroom never got cool. There was water leaking out the roof. We had to move furniture around to have some place dry to sit. We had to keep towels on the floor to keep the floor dry to keep from sliding down in the puddles of water. There was mold on the ac vents. Let’s not forget to mention the bed being held up by books/board. The steps going into the front door need some attention, the tops of the steps are loose and could create a tripping/falling hazard! We ended up cutting a vacation short!
