Perhaps more activities on the weekends for weekend visitors. The area of the resort we stayed was being renovated and it would have be nice to know this prior to booking that part of the resort.

We felt very comfortable at the Welk. The property was beautiful. The accommodations were wonderful, large space, clean, we we really liked the patio and the views.

In bad need of a major renovation. Hyatt bought the property 2 years ago, but has done very little so far. Our phones didn’t work, wifi was very poor and came and went. The furniture was newer, but very dirty. We covered some of ours with sheets and towels, which we have never done before. The grill at the pool was not open and it was sitting spring break, etc. It is a lovely property and will be great again one day, but it will be awhile.

I really enjoyed our stay at the property. The only issue was that there was no service for our phones. Although we were connected to WiFi, it still wasn’t working. Overall it was a great stay but probably wouldn’t go back unless they fix that.

It was very nice stay overall. Beautiful scenery, rooms had a kitchen with stove, full size fridge, dishwasher, and stove. Staff was very friendly. Property has several pools and a nice fitness center. The only small complaints we had was wi-fi wasn’t great so connections were a little slow. My husband said when he went to the onsite Market there was a bad smell. In terms of parking there should be a little more parking in each section. When we got back late once we had to park in another area. Luckily it wasn’t too far away but even that section had minimal parking as well. Rooms are nice but a little dated. There was a large scratch along the wall in the kitchen as well. Overall very pleased.

I could hear the people talking in the room next to us. I could everything they said. It was extremely annoying. They also didn’t have food at the pool or room service. That was a big negative for us.

Nice Room in Poor Condition

It would have been nice had it not been for a puddle of water (?) that soaked the carpet in the entryway, trash and empty bottles in the bedside table drawer, and a broken shower head. Charging so much for a hotel that you then try to convince us to sign up for as part of the vacation club should not be in that condition. We had our resort fees refunded which we greatly appreciated.
