The hotel is old, but it has obviously been maintained well throughout the years. The location is awesome, you are right on Las Olas and close to everything in downtown Fort Lauderdale. While you are close to everything, it is quiet inside.

The riverwalk was beautiful and having it right at the doorstep was a bonus. Loved the River Cafe coffee shop. Dinner at the boathouse was amazing and wish we discovered it sooner. Hotel was older but definitely a gem. The only negative was the pool area. Although the actual pool was large, nice and clean, the plants and the greenery around the pool need to be revisited as most were dead and brown. Hopefully this work is included in the near future which would make the pool area spectacular. Overall, a great stay and would highly recommend it.

Great area, clean room, friendly staff, nice location and hotel. Parking a little steep. Main complaint is it didn't feel like an "updated" room as stated. Shower could def use an upgrade. Didn't drain correctly. Could use new showerhead.

Stayed for 3 nights. 1st night on 1st floor. Very old and needs some tlc. Fittings on plumbing rusted, multiple layers of paint on fixtures. Drapes hanging off tracks. Next 2 nights moved to 10th floor. Much cleaner and modern. Great view!!
