I dont think anyone should be allowed to put pictures online of a place that doesn’t look anything like the pictures. I rented because of the pictures i saw & was very disappointed when i walked in because absolutely nothing was like the pictures.

The cottage is clean and well equipped for anything one might need to feel right at home. It’s in a quiet, older neighborhood with easy access to I-75. It also has a nice patio area surrounded by well maintained plantings, with a short walk to the river.

This property was adequate at best, certainly not "exceptional ". Reviewers should be honest in rating rentals as the rating is usually the most important criteria, along with price. In this case "you get what you pay for".As one reviewer mentioned, the place needs updating. The bathroom is old with a funky shower setup. The furnishings look like cast-offs or yard sale purchases.The property was a last minute decision because of proximity to Jet Blue Park but I wish I had kept my original hotel reservations .

Floor needed mopped was sticky, Bedding smelled like animal pee. Bed was uncomfortable, and was not sturdy, wobbly causing it too move everytime you moved. Left 3 days before check out due too workers being loud/ banging stuff around late into the night ,causing pictures to fall off the walls and walking around the windows outside and under carport. Felt uncomfortable. Will not be booking again.

Although we would have liked to be closer to beach this was a very reasonable alternative. Neighborhood is safe and friendly. Lots of areas to walk and play wuth our dog. Short drive to river district where there are so many options.

Final Leg of our Month Long stay in Florida

This home was in a nice quiet neighborhood close to the Manatee Park and the Boathouse Tiki Bar and Grill and a short drive to Fort Myers Beach and downtown Fort Myers. The outdoor space was awesome and the inside space was clean and spacious. The grill was nice to have to cook meals.

Very clean, comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood close to I-75. About 10 minutes from downtown Fort Myers. Russ and Lynda were very helpful and responsive. There is a nice patio as well. I would definitely stay there again.

Caloosahatchee River Cottage

The cottage is a one bedroom, one bath duplex. It has been recently redone and is very clean and updated. It was the perfect size for the two of us. The carport is setup as a patio & there is room for outdoor dining and sunning. Even though the neighborhood looks somewhat run down, many of the nearby homes had extensive damage during Hurricane Ian, and are working on getting them repaired. We enjoyed our time here with our dog and plan to go back next year.

Nice rental space for a short-term trip.

This area was hit hard by hurricane Ian and still shows it. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but we never felt unsafe. The property itself served us well. The communication with the property manager was fantastic!
