Good: Close to rail station but away from the sleaze. Clean room with good amenities. Comfy bed. Good bathroom. Bad: self-check-in requires too much information and is a chore to complete. Space around the bed (in the ‘comfort’ room) is so limited that its best to get in and out at the foot of the bed. Expedia says check-out is 12 noon but I was locked out if my room by 11am and had to get the grumpy guy on reception to re-authenticate my key in order retrieve my possessions

My final stay at Flemings

The room carpets are not properly vacuumed, with strands of long hair found underneath the work table. The work table also has strands of hair near the wall where the power socket is. During checking in, the friendly gentleman told me breakfast was from 6.30am to 10.30am. However, on 2 occasions, I went to have a quick breakfast at 10am and a very rude lady in white, seams like a supervisor, told me that they are closed. I continued to take my food and she was staring at me with an unhappy look.

The breakfast spread was exceptionally well done, even by the standards of Germany. The hotel is next to the train station, which gives rise to a somewhat sketchy crowd. But, on the whole this wasn’t too bad.

It’s mentioned that check in js closing at midnight so I did call the hotel instead of getting someone it was a useless call center which was saying that all agents are busy and call got disconnected. I did call 6 times, when I arrived to hotel it came out that reception never got my calls and call center is closed long time ago… so agents are enjoying their free time and not all on the line as the answering machine says. Useless and unprofessional…. Very convenient location, in order to avoid main entrance of the central station. This hotel is located right next to exit from Frankfurt am Main Central Station, Exit which is the corridor underneath the platforms, not the main one.

This is an efficient place to stay for train transport on in Germany. The reception stays open to 11 at night and check-in is largely automated. My room's decor is uninspired, but the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. I asked for extra milk, so as to be able to make a tea with the in room facilities, and the staff were accommodating. I believe this is very good value for money. The area around the train station is not great, so the 1 minute walk to the hotel was key for me choosing this location. Although there are pan-handlers / homeless in the immediate vicinity, I also noted a good police prescence and I felt safe.

It's a great value and there really is no staff as this is self-check in so don't expect much. It is across street from the train station so that is VERY convenient but the area is not good especially at night. Do not walk around alone. But it is a great value and fine for one night. I stay here several times per year.
