Et voi päästä lähempään vettä kuin sitten The The Rocks. Tämä kolmen makuuhuoneen leiri sijaitsee aivan Georgen lampilla Franklinissa, Maineessa. Äskettäin ostettu ja uusittu!

Paljon kalastusta ja uintia voidaan tehdä suoraan laiturista.

MDI / Acadian kansallispuisto on noin 45 minuutin päässä. Schoodicin niemimaa on vain noin 30 minuutin päässä ja erittäin kaunis. Vältä myös Bar Harbor -liikennettä!

Avoin konsepti, täydellinen keittiö ja kolme makuuhuonetta.

Kaksi makuuhuonetta sijaitsevat ensimmäisessä kerroksessa ja yksi
makuuhuone yläkerrassa.
Yksi makuuhuone on king-vuode, älykäs televisio.
Makuuhuoneen kaksi on queen-älypuhelin.
Makuuhuone kolme yläkerrassa ja siinä on kaksi erillistä vuodetta ja Smartv.

Yksi kylpyhuone, jossa suihku ja pesukone ja kuivausrumpu.

Keittiössä on täydellinen jääkaappi, liesi ja astianpesukone.
Keittiöön avoinna oleva olohuone on varustettu myös älypuhelimella, joten kaikki Netflix, Amazon Prime jne. Ovat käytettävissäsi lomalla ollessasi.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee lähellä kohdetta Abrams Pond. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkaille esimerkiksi pyykinpesutilat. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi keittiön ja pyykinpesukoneen/kuivausrummun.

The cottage was very clean. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything to cook with. We didn't cook as we ate everything out. The lake view is beautiful with great sunsets. Loved it.

Once we found the right building, in steady rain, we were charmed beyond measure! The "camp" was cozy and roomy at the same time, and all amenities were provided. The pond is fabulously beautiful, at all hours of the day, and we never tired of taking in the changing light, the ducks gliding by, and the haunting calls of the common loons (quite uncommon to us). We couldn't use the kayaks as they were too heavy for mid-seventy-year-olds to pull back out of the water, but we more than compensated for that with the daytime activities (Acadia Park, Winter Harbor, Northeast Harbor) and lots of gorgeous hiking. The place is a complete winner, and we were sad when it was time to leave.

A few things need to mention

The propery was as discribed, but to be honest the steps to the dock were very unsafe, wrotten wood and the other thing was the internet. We had very poor video streaming, we would have to reset the computer 8 to 10 times per show. This made the tv unwatchable.

Amazing stay, great hosts!

This is an amazing property. It’s also incredible clean and well maintained. It fits the description perfectly to a T. It’s a nice peaceful calming setting as well. Both of the hosts are very welcoming, and the instructions are also super simple and clear! I would recommend this to anyone and already want to come back!

Very nice stay!

Stayed 4 nights in July 2025. The cabin was very clean and everything was in working condition (didn't use stove though). A/C worked well and kept us comfortable. The large bed was very comfy. WiFi was great; we streamed Netflix several times with no issues. Neighborhood is BEAUTIFUL and very quiet & serine.PROS:The view is amazing! Sipping coffee while watching kayakers, boaters, loons, and even a bald eagle doing some fishing and bathing. Nothing better than that.Very clean cabin with pretty much anything you might need for cooking.Kayaks with life vests and oars. Very nice perk, we had a ton of fun on the pond.Quiet getaway in a very nice quiet area.Responsive host (via text)Good wifi for streamingCONS (very minor):Just a warning and very much out of the hosts' control - Google maps led us to the wrong property a few doors down, so be aware and look for the address on the trees by the road (don't trust online maps).There are no closets to hang clothes except an over-the-door rack (only one hanger), but there are dressers for folded clothes.We lost balance a few times and then noticed the floor of the cabin's main bedroom and hallway are not level, which threw us off when walking in those areas. The cons are not a deal breaker, but wanted to mention them. We had a wonderful time and would definitely visit again.

Beautiful

The house was cozy, super clean and the view was astounding! Kitchen had new appliances and was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc. Loved starting the day with a cup of coffee enjoying the view of the pond. Highly recommend.

Picture perfect location!

On The Rocks was as beautiful as you can imagine fall in Maine would be! You literally are right on the lake, view is gorgeous. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything we needed, close to hiking and seeing the coastline of Maine. We enjoyed our stay very much!

I'd go back but would stay longer

Didn't want to go back home the cottage was so cozy and the pond so beautiful. Everything we needed was on site, clean & worked well. We ate at the owners' restaurant on Desert Island andenjoyed that too.

Peaceful Pond Living

Property was spotless, well-equipped and very comfortable. Easy to communicate with owner when we had a question. Easy trip to local areas of interest, yet felt worlds away from tourist bustle. We spent many tranquil and restorative hours just gazing at the pond and watching the loons.

On The Rocks provided the perfect quiet getaway for my fiancé and I! We didn’t mind the 30-45 minute drive out to Bar Harbor - there are so many fun stops along the way. The kayaks at the property are a plus, too! The house is very clean and had all the essentials.

The home & proximity to the Harbors & Acadia National Park is perfect. Georges Pond is absolutely picturesque; you must take advantage & take the kayaks out ~ so peaceful. I would definitely stay again.
