The pool facility was SO good. The biggest complaint we had was there were only two elevators for the building. Sometimes we waited 20 minutes for the elevators. The location was extremity close to the Gatlinburg strip without all the noise and drama. We would definitely stay again for the pool alone!

We loved our stay at this hotel! It is well taken care of and the staff is very sweet and personable. The swimming pool area is beautiful and the hot tub even better! The rooms are a little small but it serves the purpose. My room had a fireplace so that compensates. Will totally repeat my stay at this hotel.

First stay at Edgewater and we have found our new home away from home. One and only downfall is having only two elevators, wait times were long at times.

The hotel itself was really nice, staff is helpful and kind. The breakfast was great, they have plenty of parking but it can get crowded. The elevators did take a while to come and go due to all the people. Hotel is near all the main attractions but still out the way and not by the busy street. The only downside is that they have tons of teenage children staying there for extracurricular events so they took up both the hot tubs and the pool. The hotel should have dedicated family times for those with small children or adults looking to wind down. Also had teenage children walking around the hotel unattended at all times of the day which naturally means they were acting rowdy and doing things they shouldn’t.

This is an older property but kids didn't care they loved it. I really enjoyed being able to walk to so many places from here. However, it was very loud at night, our room faced the pool and was above it and we could hear everything going on. Also the bathroom sink was full of dirt. I think the staff forgot to clean it. But this is the second time I've come here and I'd go again with kids. Can't beat the affordability and proximity. Also parking is extremely tight, but really can't complain since they don't charge you for it.

Awesome Family Vacation

Overall it was very nice. I booked 2 rooms with adjoining doors for my daughter and her family and for myself. Both rooms were clean and comfortable and very updated. Both had 2 queen beds with balconies facing the creek. Housekeeping came each day to take the trash and replace the towels and even made the beds. The breakfast was top notch. Everything was hot and fresh. Within walking distance to the strip. Overall was very pleased.

Beautiful hotel! Gorgeous moutain view. Front desk was quick, easy, and so nice. The maintenance personnel that came and started our fireplace was friendly and explained how to use it well. We asked for dinner recommendations, for something local, he (Maintenance) was knowledgeable and offered his pros and cons for each place we talked about.

This is our first time staying here and we loved it! Very close to everything. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Walking distance to all the fun. The pool and hot tub was very clean and lots of fun. The slide was a plus. Will stay here again.
