Edgewater is a decent place to stay. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the beds were very hard and uncomfortable for sleeping.

This property is dated and if they are having a conference you will be waiting on the elevator….pool doesn’t close until 11pm so if you have a room by the pool and want to go to sleep before that it can be a problem. It should be rated about a 7.2 on the Expedia website.

Great place for an overnight to Gatlinburg

This was a great place to stay overnight to visit the area. It was family friendly. The staff was kind and the entire hotel was very clean.

Not a good stay.

As soon as we stepped off the elevator to go to our room, the smell of marijuana smoke was awful. Went down to have breakfast and a bowl of dry cereal had been sitting on the counter for awhile and the server comes out from the kitchen, takes the bowl and pours it back in the cereal dispenser. The bed was very uncomfortable.

We love the indoor outdoor pool and it was close enough to everything but still quiet on the back road. You could walk anywhere you needed to go.

Normally our go-to place when staying in Gatlinburg, but has been in decline the past couple of trips. Hallways smelled of weed, elevators always take forever, no clean towels at the pool, and now they charge for parking. Also the hotel says no smoking in room or balcony, but do not enforce this.
