Room dated but clean. Staff all so lovely, felt very welcomed and looked after! Complimentary bar a fantastic touch, especially it being in crystal decanters and glass glasses as opposed to plastic! Hotel practically next door to Queen street station. Can’t wait to return.

Room was ok , accepted a £30 upgrade to a room with a balcony and access to the 7th floor lounge which was a waste of money.The snacks in the evening was cheese and biscuits and only one choice of wine.The receptionist advised me there was a continental breakfast so went to the lounge at 7.45, there was no food whatsoever

We had an excellent stay in the Carlton George, staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious and spotless, nicely furnished with a huge comfortable bed, smart TV with Netflix and YouTube was nice to have, and the complimentary mini bar was an extra I've not had unless staying in a premium room. We have stayed in several hotels in Glasgow, but this is my new favourite, we will definitely be back.

Rude staff, soiled sheets 3 different times, two of them with blood stains on the duvet cover. Room was boiling hot, no AC, couldn’t open windows. Had a spectacular trip to London, Oxford, Glasgow, and Dublin, the two nights we spent at the Carlton George were the worst accommodations of our entire trip, out of 5 hotels. Would not recommend, and will not stay there again. Challenged by staff when asking for clean bedding, they made the excuse that they outsource their cleaning of linens, then fought us at checkout when we expressed frustration over the hot and dirty room. Glasgow was lovely, but find accommodations other than here

We had dream room upgraded before i went it wad stunning but felt was really cold heating was on but seemed to be cold all the time but other than that we had a great time i have been to Carlton loads before i love staff they are amazin canot do enougj for you thankyou for making my husbands retirement special wee touches were amazing 🎉💖
