we couldn’t get meals unless we had reservations, then they would send us to the bar for a coffee or food, which wasn’t open sometimes and then took a long time because they had to get the food from another area seemed not that great for such a high quality place, the staff was great but again for such a high class place. I felt like it lacked a little. The gym was great. Your food was good. And of course, the staff was good.

The hotel is just ok.

The hotel was clean and rooms good size. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant and bar was very slow. On our first night in the restaurant all of our meals were lukewarm which we did inform a member of staff but were told they would pass it on to the chef. The 2nd night we ate in the bar area which the food was much better. Housekeeping in the room wasn’t great, the beds looked like the duvet had just been thrown on and not made properly and we had towels missing. The hotel was convenient for what we needed but probably wouldn’t stay again.

Communal areas are lovely. Staff and service was great. Good breakfast options. Yes rooms are a little tired but clean and serviceable with plenty of towels. Also rooms nice and quiet. We used the pool twice too and the kids enjoyed it.

Not bad, golf was the highlight

Hotel was ok, enjoyed the golf course (by no means a tier 1 property but the course was playable and nice enough). Golf shop staff were awesome. they allowed us to go out and play a few holes in bad weather at a discounted rate which was very nice of them. The restaurant was decent, but service could have been faster, and some staff seemed quite unfriendly. Rooms were large and comfortable but showers and sinks had poor drainage. Overall, not bad if you are in the area.
