Exactly what we needed and incredible for the price. I do wish that they had paid attention to our request for late checkout. The woman who knocked on our door at 11:00 a.m. had the late checkout paper in her hand and it did not deter her from waking us up.

Smoking hot hotel

The front desk was very helpful whether it is regular service request or request for first aid medication. The location is great. This hotel is smoking hot surrounded by tobacco plants in Smithfield, NC. Will return for another stay.

The elevator was broken the whole time we were there. We are in our 70’s and we’re staying on the second floor. We had to change our room because the door would not shut. The manager tried to tell us that the safety hook would protect us . We changed rooms. The bathroom at the pool was in shambles with sink broken and laying in the floor which management seemed to be unaware . The night clerk was cordial but I have never seen a lady with that big a chaw of tobacco. It wasn’t boring !!!

Mens bathroom in lobby area had urine all over floor. Our rooms bathroon's tub/shower was dirty, hair and mold. To top it off. I got trapped in the elevator this morning for 40 minutes and the fire department had to be called to free me. Manager never even bothered to reach out or check on my well being.
Stuck in elevator for 40min till fire dept arrived, duck tape on elevator, mold and hair in tub /shower.

The room did not have hot water on the shower. We called twice at night and in the morning to. Complain about this issue. The bed cover had human stain. The room didn’t smell fresh and the whole property is old and outdated since the eighty’s. The telephone in the room is an old phone from the seventies. The entire property needs to be renovated. Stay in another reputable name property
