Great location

Compact, well equipped overlooking main square but no noise from bars . Great for people watching and close to beach, shops etc . Owner met us as planned and was very helpful . Highly recommended .

Thoroughly enjoyed our time in el medano. Apartment was very comfortable and exceptionally quiet. Everything you needed in apartment. Shops close by. Very restful area compared with Los Cristianos and los Americas. Hope to be back again.

Perfect apartment in a beautiful location

Have visited the area a few times now but will never be tempted to book anywhere but here. The apartment has everything you could need for a comfortable stay and the views are stunning. The owners Alberto and Celia are so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Just to add there is no worry of any noise in the evenings from the square as the new windows are brilliant!!!! In previous apartments we have been woken up early due to noise from the markets being set up and bars closing late in the evening but in this apartment noise is not a problem. Only been home for 2 days and can't wait to return!!!! Thanks for a great holiday x

Great apartment and location!

This apartment is perfectly located on the main square in El Medano and has great views of the beach and beyond. The photographs show the apartment as it really is - very light and comfortable! The beds are comfy and the bedding is good. The kitchen is well-equipped; this was important to us as we mainly self-cater. A choice of good supermarkets close by. We found plenty to do including several long walks along the coastal path right down to Las Galletas. We also found quiet beaches and beach bars by walking a bit off the beaten track. There is a fab market in the square on a Saturday selling clothes, crafts and jewellery; smaller Farmer's Markets take place on a couple of other days. It would also be a great place for children - there is a playground nearby, enjoyed by children of all nationalities in a very child-centred atmosphere. El Medano is conveniently situated for bus travel in all directions; it is well worth a trip to the capital Santa Cruz or to the mountain villages. Last but not least we were very warmly welcomed by Alberto and Celia, our delightful and helpful hosts. We will definitely return as soon as possible maybe with granddaughter!

Perfect location!

Great position on main square with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The great double glazing prevents even the lightest of sleepers being disturbed. Everything you need is here, if you’ve forgotten anything there is a supermarket 30 seconds from the door. Will have no hesitation in contacting Alberto the next time we are heading to El MĂ©dano!

Lovely wee home from home

We spent 14 days in this lovely property, Comfortable, cosy , everything you will need is provided. The balcony is a super wee sun trap for the late afternoon sun. The location offers plenty to keep you busy - swimming every day is a must. There are lots of watersports available close by and Mont Roja is a challange if you are up for the climb - be sure and make an early start. Big thanks must go to the apartment owners - Celia and Alberto - so very kind and helpful with any enquiries you may have promptly dealt with. Great location for exploring the whole island.

This apartment was just right and it's real selling point is the location; just above the main town square and right on the beach. You can easily spend hours on the balcony sipping wine and watching the world go by if you wanted.

The location has to be one of the best with beach shops and lots of eateries a few steps away. Would have been nice to have an extra sofa or easy chair as there were 3 adults and only one 2 seater sofa Balcony overlooks the main square which can be noisy but all quiet after around 11.30 pm.and interesting to watch the activity and enjoy the sea views. Well equipped with kitchen equipment and a spacious double room and lounge area. Would recommend especially for seniors who may not be able to walk too far - the lift was appreciated! Taxi by square and 10 km from airport so transfers really quick and easy

Lone Traveler . had a fabulous week in El Madeno. apartment in a prime position overlooking the square and good view of the beach. were you can people watch and enjoy the evening sun wile eating your dinner. i found the apartment well equiped and comfortable. i didn't watch telly as i was out at the many bars where there are music and and good chat. i have been to this part many times. first time using apartment. i would definatly be using this apartment again. very safe if traveling alone. also big supermarket across the road for the esentials. even had gluten free product wow.

What a great apartment! We've been to Tenerife a few times and El Medano is the best place to stay if you're looking for something for all the family. This apartment has a superb location. It overlooks the main square on the edge of the beach and boasts a fantastic view of the sea, often with the added bonus of watching the Kite Surfers and Windsurfers do their stuff in spectacular fashion on the waves...a great way to watch the sun go down on the balcony with a G&T or Sangria! The square offers some great bars and places to eat which are very family friendly - in typical spanish fashion - not forgetting the small play park which they overlook...a huge bonus for us as we could relax in the evenings while the children had some fun. The apartment itself was very clean and well looked after with a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine - perfectly furnished with everything you need for a great self catering holiday. It felt bright and airy, filled with lots of sunlight. We found the bedrooms, like the rest of the apartment, to be of a high standard and the beds were very comfortable with lovely linens. It was great to all be able to sit outside on the balcony around the table to eat and drink and enjoy the lovely surroundings and weather, although why bother cooking when the local tapas and restaurants are fantastic for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Order a barraquito to try the local way of have a coffee. Very nice! The location was perfect overlooking the square and the beach. It was less than a minute or two from a choice of local supermarkets and, best of all, across from the best ice-cream shop ever. What a fantastic place to stay! Would highly recommend it to anyone - thank you Alberto and Celia!

Cosy appartment and very friendly hosts

We totally recommend a stay at Alberto's place! We stayed there with our 3-year-old child for 10 days. We were cordially received by Celia, who showed us everything. The appartment is fully equipped (towels, kitchenware, laundry machine, games, travel guides,and many things more), very comfortable and has an amazing view from the living room and the balcony. As we were travelling with a little child, we spent most evenings at home enjoying the nice sunset from the balcony, but we could still enjoy the lively, young atmosphere of the neighbourhood. The appartment is located at the main square of El Médano, which is nice because you have supermarkets, very good restaurants, cafés, a bakery, a playground and the beach just around the corner. There is a little market for food on Wednesdays and for clothes/souvernirs on Saturdays. Although the appartment faces the main square and the airport is nearby, you don't hear any noise when the windows are closed. We never slept with open windows because the outside temperature was chilly during the night. There is a parking space in the garage, which is small, but as we had a small car, we had no problems using it. I think with a bigger car parking there can be challenging. In this case you could park outside on the streets. Communication was easy with Alberto and Celia, they even checked on us regularly during our stay in order to make sure that we were not missing anything. We would be happy to come back!

Wij hebben, met onze dochter van 1,5 jaar, een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het appartement is knus ingericht, heeft een heerlijk balkon met uitzicht over het plein. Het is niet superstil, er is veel leven op het plein, maar goed isolerende ramen en deuren zorgen voor goede stilte tijdens het slapen. Ideaal voor bezoek met jong kind. Er is een klein bad, speelgoed, kinderbedje en een speeltuintje en het strand recht onder het appartement. De eigenaren zijn zeer gastvriendelijk, een warm ontvangst, goed bereikbaar, en houden contact tijdens het verblijf om zeker te weten dat je het naar je zin hebt. Wij komen zeker een keer terug!

Wir wurden von Celia und Alberto sehr freundlich empfangen. Nach einer Einweisung in die Wohnung zeigten sie uns einige empfehlenswerte Restaurants in Medano. Wir waren hĂ€ufig im Restaurant Familia und immer sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung liegt an einem sehr belebten Platz mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Supermarkt, BĂ€cker etc. in unmittelbarer NĂ€he. Die LautstĂ€rke wird durch eine sehr gute Fensterisolierung gedĂ€mmt, Schlafen bei offenem Fenster ist jedoch durch den vorhandenen LĂ€rmpegel nicht sehr erholsam. Leider wird es in den Sommermonaten durch die direkte Sonneneinstrahlung ĂŒber den eingelassenen Balkon in den RĂ€umen sehr warm. Da wie beschrieben nachts durch den LĂ€rmpegel keine LĂŒftungsmöglichkeit besteht war an einen erholsamen Schlaf leider nicht zudenken. Abhilfe könnte eine Markise als Sonnenschutz schaffen. Das Mobiliar mit hölzernen KlappstĂŒhlen war fĂŒr uns ungemĂŒtlich. Insgesamt können wir die bisher uneingeschrĂ€nkt positiven Bewertungen aus unserer Sicht nur bedingt nachvollziehen.
