It was a beautiful building inside and out. The rooms were big and spacious with being a suite. We had a room with a view of the river from the 6th floor. The staff were friendly. The only problem I had was that I used the app to select our room and get the virtual key to avoid needing to stop and wait in line at the registration desk, but I still had to stop. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

Room was booked as 2 queen beds. The beds were both double/full sized. Appreciated the pull out sofa and extra bedding since the bed was smaller than expected. One family member used that. For a higher end hotel, I would have expected a better breakfast selection for dietary restrictions. We have found better options at lesser quality hotels. I asked staff if anything gluten free, something safety prepackaged maybe. She pulled out her list to read me the options already out and the allergens. Not helpful. Family member got a yogurt, banana and coffee. Self-serve food is unsafe for some folks. We have been to hotels who have prepackaged bagels or prepackaged muffins in the back…just overall better understanding. Even the hot cocoa pkt was Nestle, not GF. Why not use Swiss Miss that actually would be safe? When there are actually safer options out there it is just disappointing. We do come prepared and bring back up food, but just expected better from a nicer hotel company.
