They do not honor reservations. If you plan on staying here have a plan B. Drove from Florida and when I got there they told me I did not have a room even though it was paid for in full. The general manager James Peel was extremely rude and refused to escalate my complaint. He stated he was the only person who I could speak with and there was no one above him. He has been the GM there for 7 years and answers to no one. I have never been treated so rudely at a hotel/In. This was the worst experience ever. Thank God that Homewood Suites who called Embassy suites for me to see if they had a clean room available for me because they did not. But they went out of their way to try to help when they aren’t even a part of Wyndham. They are actually part of the Hilton franchise…. Embassy suites came to the rescue and had a room ready and allowed me to check in way early so I could get some sleep. Stay away from La Quinta and go with Hilton properties. They know what customer service means…
