Really unfriendly check-in host. Checking in was a negative experience, it felt like I was "burdening" the host by asking questions. When I told the host the room had a strong smell she offered an annoyed "it's probably the fire place we don't have other rooms". Overall, it gave the whole experience a negative vibe. I travel often, I understand people can be tired and stressed but having a warm welcoming staff should be a minimal expectation.

The property is old, period. You can get a whiff of the oldness when you walk into the room. The location is a bit removed from the main area and it’s hard to appreciate the ocean view unless you book a specific room. It feels like an old hotel with dated exterior, interior and FF&E. Low ceiling and cracked bathroom features. Dirty bathroom window screens. I didn’t want to take a shower in that tub. The staff is friendly enough and the breakfast felt quaint. If the price is below $125 given the inflated pricing in the area, it’s a decent choice but not an excellent choice.

Great hot continental breakfast! Bathroom could be upgraded in terms of modern features of tiling and shower head, but the faucet at sink lighting up when turned on was a highlight for my preschooler. Piano and board games as well as hot coffee and tea in the community room was much appreciated.

Front desk people were nice and accomodating. Parking plentiful and free. Grounds were clean and generally friendly (lots of pets on premise). Rooms were clean though very dated, especially the bathroom. Water pressure was tragic (trickle). Breakfast okay, we've had better at comparable hotels. Would stay again if looking for a reasonably priced 3* experience

We were really disappointed with our stay. The room we got looked nothing like what we booked. No balcony, no golf view, and definitely not the “suite” shown online. When we brought it up, the staff were dismissive and unwilling to help, even after we showed proof of our booking. The room felt old and poorly maintained. Ants in the tub, dirt and mold in the bathroom, and a bedside drawer that wouldn’t stay shut like the floor was slanted. Noise from upstairs and nearby rooms made it hard to relax, and the back area had zero privacy. Breakfast was also disappointing- watery scrambled eggs and barely any options. While I don’t want to assume anything, we were the only guests of color during our stay, and seeing other photos online, it honestly felt like we got the worst view on the property. The only upside was the location tho. Convenient and close to everything but overall, this place seriously needs renovation, better staff training, and more honesty in its listings.

Nice room, plenty of space and a fireplace! They provided a bundle wrapped in burlap that was easy to burn and made a very pretty fire. Beautiful grounds with a pool and hot tub, as well as a game area. Breakfast was typical for a free hotel breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, a nice, clean, comfortable hotel.
