Booked a deluxe oceanview cabin for 2 nights with a king sized bed. Was quite surprised when I entered our room and there was two queen beds. The company’s website and Expedia website both confirm I booked a room with one king bed and nowhere on either site does it mention the possibility of two queen beds instead of a king sized bed. Brought this to the staffs attention and was basically told yes we are aware of it and the website needs to be updated. Staff was supposed to talk to management and offer us a discount or something and nobody ever reached out. Furthermore the “oceanview” we booked was laughable you could barely make out the ocean thru all the trees. I admit there was two or three cabins that did offer a great ocean view just not ours. It appears the company took pictures from their “best” cabin to post on their website. Very misleading and deceiving. Rooms on the outside are beautiful but a lot to be desired in the inside. Also there is a terrible smell that fills the whole cabin from the septic system. I asked to switch rooms and was told nothing else was available. Very disappointing and will not be back which is too bad because the location is beautiful and has so much potential.
