Our wonderful stay on the spacious houseboat was truly unforgettable. The houseboat was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The rooftop terrace made every evening special. Harald and Karsten were both fantastic, helpful, kind, and attentive.Karsten was an exceptional host, friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. He made sure everything was perfectly arranged. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing Hamburg experience!

Hamburg Houseboat

We loved the Houseboat!! Loved that it was a central hub for friends/family to gather and enjoy when we wanted respite from the go-go-go that Hamburg is! A quick ten minute walk to the train allowed us not to have to rent a vehicle, helped get our steps in and was easy to navigate throughout the various hubs of the City! A perfect rental. We will absolutely be back!!

A great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the house boat, great location and easy to access all of Hamburgs sights on foot or on the s-Bahn with a station down the road. The houseboat is spacious, and we were greeted by Karsten who gave us a very thorough induction to everything we needed to know during our stay. Roof top was lovely in good weather. Stairs up and down are very steep so would advise caution to anyone with young children. Thanks for a great stay - we loved Hamburg and would love to return!

Ice property, unique experience

The property was beautiful, quiet annd, being a houseboat, a u inquest experience. Besides the interior it has a wonderful roof deck. Location was a bit away from the city center it it was within walking distance e of bot S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations.

Hamburg in December

We were looking for some peace and relaxation and we got it. It was apparently the coldest time in Hamburg in five years, so we spent more time in the houseboat than we anticipated. It had everything we needed, although some additional blankets might have been nice to snuggle on the couch. It was maybe a 15 minute walk to a grocery store, 10 minutes to get some great coffee, 10 to get to a train station. Karsten was awesome and although we are typically very low maintenance, we did need some help this time around and Karsten did everything possible to help us. Thank you!

Beautiful, modern houseboat off the beaten path

Hosts were wonderful and thorough in explaining how everything worked. Communication was a bit difficult, and a meeting time/place was not setup prior so we had some concerns and difficulty locating the access point, but we worked it out fairly quickly. My daughter loved feeding the ducks and swans that visited anytime she opened the window. The top deck was a great place to hang out. We weren't there very often other than in the evenings, so we didn't use the property extensively. There is a bus location close by, but trains are 15 minute walk away, as is everything else, which isn't much in the evenings as it's primarily an office area with few amenities around. Didn't really bother us since we were gone during the days, though. We'd definitely consider staying here again!

A wonderful, warm and comfortable place to stay in Hamburg. Well equipped kitchen; big, comfy beds and well located. Would love to stay here again, especially in the summer so we could take advantage of the upper deck. Fabulous host - thank you Karsten.

Extremely nice place and very nice and welcoming host.

You will not be disappointed by this place. New, spacious, big roof terrace, close to metro station 4 stops away from the harbour environment. We went 4 friends from Denmark for a weekend getaway, and we all agreed - it was GREAT! The host was there exactly on time as agreed, and he was extremely nice and helpful. The place is amazing.

The houseboat was beautiful. It was very clean, well kept, and peaceful. The metro is a short walk from the house boat and just a few stops away from the waterfront. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much.

WONDERFUL

We stayed here with a group of 4 belgian friends for 2 nights. The houseboat is brand new, spacious and well equipped. The survival kit (product for dishwasher, bin liners, salt & pepper, toilet paper) was present, which is considerable. The beds are very confortable. The location is good, not far from 2 train stations (10 min walk). The owners Harald & Dagmar are very kind and attentive (explanations for the closest supermarket, bakery, etc). They offered us to check-in earlier and check-out later than usually (the houseboat wasn't occupied of course). We highly recommend this property.

Alles Wunderbar. Innen ist es riesig und luxuriös ausgestattet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Ein Hausboot hat eine besondere Atmosphäre, auch, wenn es fest verankert ist. Das Wasser ist immer gleich vorm Fenster. Und ebenso die Wasservögel, auch, wenn es bei unserem Aufenthalt wegen des Frostes und des zugefrorenen Fleets weniger Vögel waren.Danke nochmal an den Gastgeber, dass wir hier ein verlängertes Wochenende verbringen durften.
