Paid for parking is what I do not like. They charge 45$ a day to be able to park at their hotel. I get parking is hard to find, but I would rather they have option of free parking, and first come first serve method. Good thing about the place is that it is walking distance to most places, very convenient.

it was good staff are nice the cleaner Juvy on the 2nd floor are very friendly.. it was a good location, the only thing that i want to suggest was the breakfast hoping that they have more option or atleast different menu everyday... but its a good breakfast.. overall i will comeback to this hotel for the price its really worth it...

My family and I spent eight days (seven nights) in Hawaii in May 2025, our first time visiting such an amazing place. We chose the Waikiki Resort Hotel based on my research of a number of hotels, and our stay there confirmed that I made the right decision. The ambience is retro Hawaiian, and that is exactly what made for its charm. Anything else would have been un-Hawaiian, or sterile, if you will. The Hawaiian motif of the rooms, the furniture in the rooms, the carpeting throughout, the stained glass in the lobby -- all contributed to the sense that we were really in Hawaii. The staff were especially friendly and eager to help in any way that would make our stay easy. Among the many amenities, the complimentary breakfast each morning very much kick-started each day, and we appreciated that. And what a great location -- right in the middle of Waikiki, within walking distance of all the fantastic shops, the Honolulu Zoo, and of course, the ocean! Just a short one-block walk from the ocean. You just donned your swimming gear in the hotel and a couple of minutes later, you were enjoying none other than the famous Waikiki Beach! As I reflect on this year's vacation, I realize that this hotel played a big part in making it one of our more memorable ones.

The hotel looks a little dated but service and cleanliness and additional services they offer is top notch. Car rental in hotel, trip excursion planner, they will turn over rooms daily if you do not have your dnd slip on door, the breakfast was actually good it was more than just toast and cereal. They offered eggs, fresh fruit daily amongst other items to enjoy. For the price and proximity to beach it’s well worth the stay. Would stay again.

Outstanding experience! Clean rooms, part view of the beach and surf from balcony and fresh linen, nice. Great front desk and bell hop staff. Second floor has the complimentary breakfast Polynesian style fried or steam rice, scramble eggs or boiled eggs, fresh fruit, great coffee. Plus is there is a mini ABC store type and car rental in the lobby. Location is a 30 second walk to the main strip and beach! Things noted that the hotel needs visual renovations but, the facility is in great shape at this time. We wanted a clean, balcony ocean or Diamondhead view room, beach access, complimentary breakfast, and reasonable rates. Aloha

When I first checked In they did not give me my correct room. If it’s then I had to wait 3 days to receive the room I requested prior to booking my stay. The mass majority of staff were super friendly providing me with extra through my stay

Good deal for the area.

A decent hotel but dated. Fantastic staff, and view to the beach was just enough. Walk to beach was minimal, and towel service was nice. Good pool. Great buffet breakfast with something for everyone. Overall, a decent bargain for the area.
