The Apartamentos Monasterio de San Antonio are located outside a tourist centre in a tranquil small town on the green outskirts of Icod de los Vinos in the northwest of Tenerife. The single studio "Apartamentos Monasterio de San Antonio No. 5" welcomes you in a beautiful 218 year old, recently renovated monastery building 325 metres above sea level.
The small but cosy studio on the first floor has a living-bedroom (with single bed: 90x200cm) with a small kitchenette and a private bathroom and offers space for one person. The equipment also includes wifi and a satellite TV with approx. 450 international channels as well as free Netflix. The holiday flat is completely facing the street (double glazing) and offers a wonderful sea view. For noise-sensitive people, the location on the street can lead to noise pollution despite double glazing. The small studio offers an ideal base for solo travellers who mainly want to explore the beautiful island. However, the real highlight of the over 218-year-old house with its typical Canarian courtyard and staircases is the shared roof terrace. Here you can relax on one of the sun loungers or sit in the covered lounge area and enjoy the magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains. The accommodation is the ideal base for exploring the island on mountain bike or hiking tours. The famous Dragon Tree and the historic town centre are only about 900 metres down a steep hill and can be reached on foot in around 13 minutes.
The house has its own private parking for guests. Pets are allowed on request. Parties are not allowed. Adults only.
Bed linen and towels are included in the price, towels are changed every five days free of charge. Further towel or bed linen changes available on request at extra cost. Unfortunately, we cannot offer laundry service, but there is a launderette less than 2 kilometres away.
