I gave 3 stars. The location is fabulous. The rooms are just ok. Nothing spectacular. My mom had to grt a new room due to the AC not working and the new room didn’t get quite as cold as we’d like during the hot august heat. The beds are clean which is important but the floors need some attention. There are lots of strands of hairs all over them and not very clean. The shower head needs to be changed. The water goes every which direction except down on you. Our one and only chair in the room was broken, which I mentioned the first night and it never got fixed. There is owners to sit in the room other than the bed. Other than that it was a great place to stay. We didn’t use the pool. But it does look pretty. I do like the 5 gallon bottle of water dispenser that is available to refill your water bottle. And one last thing, I’m not sure what the purpose of the wristband that they give you is for other than to annoy you being on your wrist. We’ve stayed here many times and it seems that they should update some things. They charge more than they used to a few years ago which is usually due to things being updated but nothing has changed in many many years.

The view from the rooms is amazing! It is minimalist but you’re there for the beach anyways. We had 2 rooms next to each other and not all rooms have a hammock. There is no elevator fyi.. we had grandma and she did ok but it was hard. This place is directly on the water, but there is no water access. AC worked amazingly as well as the hot water and toilets, in Mexico I call that a win!

I had an ocean view room on the 2nd floor with balcony and hammock. It was private and had a superb view. The hotel is minimalist but clean. Housekeeping was excellent. Otherwise there was no service other than check in and check out. The photo was taken from my balcony.

Amazing view of the Ocean from 2nd floor balcony. Would stay here again next time. Only 3 blocks from the Maritime Terminal once you get off the Ultrima Ferry.

This hotel has come a long way since I first came here 20 years ago, And all the changes have been good. Everybody treated me well and the newly appointed rooms at a very reasonable price are accompanied with incomparable views and the soft breeze from the ocean. I hope to be here again soon.

Beautiful views and convenient location but hotel is run down. The staff won’t honor a room request but do try to make you happy. We have stayed there for years and sadly seen it decline. We were allowed to cancel but were charged for 1 night. We won’t be back unless there is a major renovation.

We stayed 4/27 to 5/2.Staff didn't explain pool hours or provide wifi information. Day 1, toilet handle didn't work. We had to put in a work order to fix it. .Monday we didn't have any hot water. We let staff know early in the morning. We came back in the evening, still no hot water. We let staff know, gentleman said nothing he can't do anything as its late in evening. Next morning, still cool water when we showered.. Staff said it was fixed, you have to let water run awhile to get hot water. Every day after, you have to let water run awhile before you get hot water. They didn't offer to change our room because it was an issue with all rooms.. Overall, the location is great, the view is beautiful. The pool area is clean but the pool skimmer not great. Many bugs in the pool.. I dont think we'll stay again with all the issues we experienced.
