We enjoyed the festive downtown Cary and The Mayton was also a cozy and merry stay! The lobby was beautiful and though the bar was closed for a private event, we were still able to get a drink and have it in the lobby by the fire.

The Mayten is a wonderful hotel in the heart of downtown Cary. Lucky for us that all the downtown and Cary Park holiday lights were on display. Thank you to the friendly hotel staff. Our breakfast in the dining room was delicious and bartenders crafted festive drinks one evening. The rooms were spotless and the hotel decor fits the architectural style. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

There was an event going on that blocked all streets around the hotel. A gentleman called a couple of days before and informed us and told us to call when we got here and they would tell us how to park at the hotel. Well we did and the woman at the front desk told us she didn't kniw anything and maybe we could park at the library and walk. Unacceptable.
