My husband cut his leg on the bed. Theres a metal tab that holds mattress in. Blood everywhere. I asked for fresh sheets and someone to check mattress. I had tofind the maid and i changed sheets myself. Next day my hubby hit his leg again again. Once again no help from staff. This has resulted in my hubby needing wound care. Blood all over carpet. I did the best i could cleaning it up but i bet nothing happened. Room 4205. Will not be returning

We stayed at the Horseshoe, not in the Tower, for our first visit. It was old - more like a motel than a hotel, the A/C was loud and we woke up freezing in the middle of the night, the sheets were scratchy, there was no microwave or refrigerator, there was what looked like mold in the bathroom/shower, carpets needed cleaning/replacing. On the way back from our trip, we stayed in the Tower - a little more money, but well worth it! We won't stay at the Horseshoe again. The Horseshoe is 1-2 stars at best. Staff at check-in at the casino were nice, but we saw no staff at the Horseshoe.

Loved Cactus Pete's for the convenient parking and dining options. Check-in was very easy. Dining servers had pleasant personalities and were attentive. The property featured a wonderful large heated pool in a nice landscape with a great jetted hot tub. Casino area was pleasant.

Room was nice. Pool area kept up well, but did not use. Desert Room restaurant was okay. First night had such slow service that we left and went to Subway (the only fast food in town). Better the second day after my husband complained. Food was nominal. Everything seemed clean.

It was perfect! This hotel came highly recommended by family who had stayed there a few weeks earlier. It was such a wonderful stay with a very comfortable bed and spacious clean room! The refrig was a necessity and it was all working well. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too!
