Pool area was great, staff was amazing, but the convenient location paired with the option of the free Scooby Doo bus was incredible. What a great vacation that already has us looking to come back. I almost forgot, we asked our friends (Maui Residents for over 20 years) where to stay and they said, Maui Coast Hotel is the best. The buy in from the locals is always the way to go! Thank you Maui Coast!!!

All members of the staff were so inviting and friendly! The property itself is beautiful, clean and updated. The pools were so nice and never crowded. We enjoyed the complimentary shuttle, bikes, and overall location. We will definitely be back to Maui Coast, it is money well spent!

Great hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay at Maui Coast and loved the pool area with the restaurant. It was wonderful to unwind there after a long day. There was an ABC store within walking distance and the beach was across the street. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Room in the new tower was nice. Plenty of drawers. Cleaning staff took a long time to get to our room, which was in the middle of the hallway. They did a good job once in there, but we were skipped numerous times they would often be just getting to our room at 230/300 when we’re getting back and ready to change for dinner. Limited dining and 0 indoor food options at the time. So many flies at the outdoor dining area. Pools were clean, but the walkways are so hot during the day, you can easily burn your feet from the chairs to the pool. Live Music every evening was nice, noisy on occasion. Laundry rooms were great. Common areas were often dirty with crumbs. I would guess they are short staffed on housekeeping. Not enough parking and 2 of 3 dining options were closed. I might stay here again, but I don’t believe it’s the 9.8 out of 10 experience shown on Expedia.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maui Coast Hotel. Check-in was super easy, and I loved how quick it was to get from our room to the parking lot since the elevator is right in the open-air lobby. The poolside restaurant was really good with a friendly staff, especially with live music and people actually dancing The beds were pretty comfortable, and the location can’t be beat — — The beach is just steps away from the parking lot, making it perfect for quick snorkeling trips. Close to Ulua and Polo beaches is a plus. Lots of shopping and lots of dining nearby. Plus, getting around the island was a breeze: just take a left out of the hotel onto S. Kihei Road, then a quick left on Alanui Ke Alii, and you’re on the Piilani Hwy for easy island adventures. Definitely a great spot!
