We loved the accommodation, the staff were all really friendly, and helpful. The pool was even better than the pictures, the bungalows were spacious and clean. Bed a little hard, but as normal in Thialand. The accommodation was really well situated, with 2 min walk to the beach and plenty of cool places to eat. The grounds were tidy, lots of butterflys. And the cold drinks were lovely by the pool. We were really pleased with our choice.

Nice Beach

It was a great location, beautiful beach, great staff. No real shower just bidet hose, but was comfortable. Would stay again. You get what you pay for and what do you really need. Food was fantastic!

From check in to check out the hospitality shown was first class and we were made to feel welcome. We had a lovely bungalow with a semi open air bathroom which was wonderful! We also had a resident Lizard in our room who we named Leonard and it was lovely to be so close to nature! Beautiful pool and good amount of sun loungers, housekeeping did a fantastic job and beach towels were provided too plus complimentary toiletries. The breakfast provided ticked all the boxes. Thelr Strawberry shakes are divine. Situated in Klong Nin its right opposite the beach and well placed to explore the island from. If I am lucky enough to go back to Lanta I will stay here again!!

Nice but noisy

This resort is right across from the beach, and has a clean pool. The room was big and clean, but did not get cleaned during our stay, some fresh towels would have been nice. At check in, the lady didn’t seem to know what she was doing, and the staff in general were not friendly or approachable. Every morning at 5am a call to prayer could be heard from the room along with crying children and animals, so to some up it was loud in the morning! Overall our stay here was nice other than the noise in the mornings, if you’re an early bird you’ll be fine.

Hotel was allright, done the job. Stayed in bungalow only one type. Cleaned every day with fresh towels & beach towels. The breakfast was o.kay. Juice, Coffee, Fruit, Toast & Jam & scambled eggs. The staff were friendly but little english, we got by o.kay. As for selling no alchol right opposite 2 beachfront bars come hotels. Hotel food off their menu was o.kay, had a few meals and enjoyed. Pool was allright never busy needs a bit of a clean. Klon Nin is a laid back place so don`t expect 5 star. Nearly all the bars come restaurants are on the beach all made of wood & bamboo basic but really relaxing. Spent Xmas & New Year there had a ball. On the down side everywhere had the same menu so food was a bit boring, good fish though plenty of prawns.Was in Ko Lanta 6 years ago in Long Beach more upmarket but not to much, lots of building going on the island so catch it now before its to late & turns into a typical Thai tourish island.Would go back.

Decent, good value for money

Low season so very quiet. Staff lovey and pool is great! Hotel is over the road from the beach but road can be noisy. Breakfast was good but basic.

Good quiet location

Hotel has a good location… is not beach front but just need to cross the street and go through the restaurant at the front to get to the beach. Breakfast is not included but is available for purchase a la carte, you would pay about 300 BHT for 2 breakfasts (omelet, toast & coffee/tea) and the food is tasty with good size portions. Since this is a muslim ran hotel they serve halal food and the girls are very helpful. The place itself does need some maintenance and can be upgraded with basic work. Bungalow door locks are a bit loose and you get the feeling that just with a strong push you can crack the door open. TV does not work at all…we tried doing some channel screening but we could not find 1 single working channel so keep this in mind if you are counting on it. A/C works pretty well and refreshes the whole room (we had a bungalow) They will not come into the room for housekeeping unless you instruct them so that was nice, especially if you read stories about stolen items in Thai hotels(I have to say that I stayed in 4 different hotels and I did not have 1 single issue on this matter). About the pool, it is true that it sometimes turn greenish, is because it seems that they don’t have the filter running constantly, so the water will turn green every couple of days until they turn it on. You can purchase trips and rent a scooter in their front desk…make sure you ask for a discount, they should give you a good one on tours (not scooter rental).

Overproced and not as advertised

The hotel is overpriced for the quality and the photos on Expedia do not represent it and say nothing about an outdoor bathroom. We ended up leaving after one night because of 2 issues. First, the bathroom is advertised as private but it is outside with a shower door that didn't lock separating it from the room so the room wasn't secure. Since there were no full bathroom walls, you're basically outside exposed to the elements and animals when using (an animal kept us up scratching at our toilet seat all night). The room wasn't secure as anyone could climb into the bathroom and enter through the shower door that served as the bathroom door. Most disturbing was the quality of water out of the sink. We turn on and it spouted black/gray water with large dark particle. We let it run for awhile and then gave up on clearing it so we could t wash our hands in our room. The price for this was around what you can pay for a clean, nice hotel on the beach.

Relaxing Beachside Stay

We had a wonderful time staying at Lanta Klong Nin Beach resort! Our room was clean, spacious and well-kept. The staff were also very friendly and helpful - they answered all our questions and gave us great advice (as well as discounts!) on what activities to do in the area. They were also very thoughtful - we had forgotten to leave our "make up the room" sign on the door handle one day, so they left us a bag on our door with extra bottled water, and toiletries! As others have mentioned before, it isn't exactly beach front, but the beach is only a short 5-8min walk away. Overall, lovely stay!

Spacious bungalow

The bungalow was great! Very spacious with a wonderful outdoor bathroom. The staff was great and the location was perfect. The only downside was the pool which is huge, but not clean and has too much chlorine.

This place was great! The pool was huge and so was the room/suite. There was a WORKING fridge and you could shower outside ( walled off). Our view was over the massive pool and we loved it!

Worth it for the price, recommend

Overall very nice stay here, the pool is lovely, the bungalows are very spacious, new & modern, the toilet is attached to the room but from head height up they have no wall so it was weird at first but you get use to it. The curtains don't close properly so people can see in from outside at night so bring some clips!! Standard rooms are not worth the money so pay the small extra money to upgrade, it is worth it. Restaurant isn't that busy & doesn't sell alcohol but there's plenty to eat & drink across the road at the beach bars & restaurants. We did a lot of research and this is by far the best for the price.

Pleasurable stay

Access to Koh Lanta by boat from Phi Phi, then a transfer to hotel, tuck tuks available on arrival. We stayed here for 7nights, during off season, May. Very welcoming. Problem with safe so we had to carry our valuables, but everywhere was very quiet so not too much of a worry. Huge swimming pool, warm. Easy access to Klong Nin beach. Daily housekeeping, free bottled water. room had plenty of space. Excellent price out of season.
