Ants in Room

The location is a good location and staff were friendly but beware, they have ants! I had ants on my bed and all over my stuff. My friend is allergic to ants but she was fortunate not to be bitten. When I mentioned to frint desk staff they seemed surprised but i have seen ant traps set up outside so it must be an ongoing issue.

I didn't hear a sound from shared walls, except the maid vacuuming once above me. Would have liked to be able to screen cast from my phone to the tv, and they need to update the beds, at least in my room-otherwise I will be returning to this hotel on my next visit.

Our new Laguna gem!

This little gem is a great alternative to the expensive questionable hotels in Laguna! Quiet, clean, comfortable, free bfast (omelettes on M-Th), happy hour apps, warm pool n large hot tub, cute hummingbirds at the fountain, quick elevators, ample free safe parking, near a French bakery that we enjoyed! Although not a large resort nor on the beach, it has a clean intimate old world vibe that I found unique. We will be back, thank you Ayres!

Well , for the price and the area we thought it would be nicer. To start when trying to make reservations for the block of rooms that were reserved for the wedding party. The front desk said we are all booked up and hung up , twice. I went online and reserved a room outside the reserved block of rooms. Why , only thing near the wedding venue. Got to the room smelled like a smoky Las Vegas room, mushy bed , fiberglass apartment shower, pressed wood kitchenet. During the day 4:00 went out to leave and homeless going through the trash just outside the side entrance. Nice building , bad finishes , lack of safety

This is a fair place to stay. It’s clean and convenient, but the noise is not going to allow you to have a great night’s sleep! The in room air conditioning system is old and doesn’t cool the entire room. It’s extremely loud and so it wasn’t very comfortable. The sound the water made when the shower next door turned on woke me up. Overall all don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed.
