Overall a decent hotel with easy access to Lake Tahoe. Staff were fantastic, the rooms clean and the beds comfortable. The room facilities were excellent, too.

We did not have an enjoyable stay. The smell of the air freshener or carpet cleaner in our room was so strong that it was more like an "air freshener gas chamber" than a hotel room suitable for sleeping. We had the windows open for 4 plus hours when the temperature outside was in the 40s to air out the room, but that did not help. We could not sleep at night and we would not come back.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. That’s where it ends. Our initial room smelled so strongly of bleach it made my eyes water. The helpful front desk guy gave us a different room without additional charge. The carpets were stained, the room has a slight odor but not like the first room. The room had coffee bags like tea bags in the room , coffee for purchase in the lobby, no breakfast. It’s one step above a motel 6 with a high price tag
