Great little getaway spot for us. More for relaxing and family time instead of doing lots of things. We enjoyed the spa and sauna. The little bistro on property is convenient for a quick bite to eat, but we had full kitchen facilities in our Villa, so we enjoyed meals made there for the majority of it. Movie night in the main lodge is great for kids. Getting to downtown was decently quick and the shuttle services offered were an added bonus. We love the spectacular views in the wintertime.

Perfect hotel for skiing at Heavenly. Our building was walking distance to Stagecoach and had lovely views of the property.

I didn't like the limited and spaced-out food/restaurant and options. Amenities were spaced out as well, between the buildings. Not easy to walk to everything. Staff was responsive and nice. I like the daily activities and events.

We received the room I had booked yet when entering the room we realized it had not been cleaned. There was garbage everywhere and pee in the toilet and the beds dirty. My family of five moved with all of our snow gear and luggage to an entirely different building. This was not the room I had booked with the tub in the bedroom. Staff guaranteed me that the next room, again in an entirely different building, would be the room I originally booked. It was not. NO tub in the room and NO balcony or patio for my children to play in the snow. All very disappointing.

This property was advertised as in/out ski property with lift taking you right from the property. When we visited (weekend of 2/8/25), that lift was broken and property said that shuttle will take ppl to and from ski area. That experience was awful as they only had 1 small shuttle running and it was a challenge to get from Heavinly resort back to the hotel (we had to wait almost an hour on Sunday to get onto the shuttle as it was literally a fight who can get a space faster). It was really bad…. I wrote to front desk of the property (Will, front desk supervisor) to ask for them to take out the resort fee or do something for us and they said that they could do nothing and shuttle is complimentary (which it would normally be complimentary except that they had their equipment broken - very different situation). I wouldn’t recommend a property like this especially if they don’t provide service and don’t try to ensure customers are satisfied and get what they pay for.

Pro: great location, huge rooms and full kitchen, great view. Cons: have to use a shuttle to/from ski lift(skier express doesn’t work), no good restaurants around, some rooms can be cold, no pets, sauna needs to be turned on an hour before you want to use it. Overall hotel is a little tired :)

Initially walking into the room everything was great and looked great. Kitchen was clean and stocked with the necessary cooking equipment (ie pots and oans, cutting board, silverware, knives) room was clean as well and everything looked great. We had a two bedroom villa, but then once you start looking closer you see the flaws. There was two bathrooms in the room, one bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and the other did not. What was annoying is the shower in the bathroom that had the jacuzzi tub the water was either ice cold or scolding hot. There was no in between so if I showered in that bathroom then the only way to get a warm shower was to have little to no pressure or else it would burn the hell out of me. The other bathroom had good temperature balance but the door didn’t stay shut so the water would spray out and make the tile floor even more slippery. Then the beds were sleep number beds which I thought were going to be great but they were horrible and messing with the air was a little annoying. Aside from those issues and the few little ones such as tvs all having different channels. Everything was great, the room was spacious and the kitchen was a huge plus for me and my family. It is definitely far away from the Stateline but they do have shuttles going down each day at different times. If you are looking for a good spot to stay when you’re skiing then this is the place. We really enjoyed everything else, staff were very friendly!

Bait and Switch

We experienced some problems with this hotel last year but decided to give them a second chance, They blew it. We spent 34 minutes in line to check in. The resort advertises modern rooms in their newer buildings on the listings. We were assigned a room in the Naele 12 building, and it looked nothing like what we reserved. It looked right out of a 1950's sitcom, aside from the granite. Take a look at the pics. You have to see it for yourself. Beds were uncomfortable. Cabinets, doors, and wood trim were in rough shape. The carpet had a musty smell. Paint was peeling from the wall in one bathroom. Exterior walkways were poorly lit. The unit was intentionally neglected. We will not return.
