Our room was not heated, and it was a cold, rainy day. No one knew how to turn the heat on, but eventually the Lodge's caretaker called and was able to explain how to turn on the radiator. Later, the power went out (not their fault! It went out throughout the town!), so we lost heat again.
That said, staff were friendly and really went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. They truly went the extra mile. We were able to get our food at the restaurant before the power went out - it was all fresh, hot, and delicious! Breakfast the next day was basic buffet style, but, again, fresh, hot, and delicious.
Overall, we would be willing to stay there again.
