Over priced truck stop

We booked two rooms to accommodate our family of 6. Thankfully we had rooms next to but not adjoining. In both rooms, there were socks hidden in a corner behind a chair from previous guests. One room had a very large, dense spider nest above the curtain that was most definitely there for more than a few days. Another room had long hair that was not the color of any of our family. The halls permeated of chemicals covering up an odor deeply embedded in the structure. Both bathrooms had dirt built up in the corners and along the floor. House keeping never even came to empty the trash. By no means did we expect luxury accommodations, however basic cleaning was non existent.

Nice quiet location. Staff is great. Right next door to a casino and dining. My only complaint would be the bed. Mattresses is a little on the springy side. But the room is great for a quick stop over.

I left a note before arrival that my plane didn't get in until 11:30 and I didn't get to the motel until 12:00 but the desk clerk was waiting for me and I didn't have any problem checking in. There was something sticky on the carpet and we didn't have any maid service, but otherwise the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Great hotel, but short staffed.

Staff was great -- but they were short staffed, so we did not get our room made up for entire stay (3 nights). Also, lights were burned out and maintenance never showed. We only had one main room light working out of 5, and one burned out over vanity. Sat on chair and back leg was broken, so I fell off of it. Reported all to front desk. They offered to replace chair with another in storage, but we told them just to fix it before the next guest got injured as their maintenance man had already left for the night.

The room wasn't clean especially the carpet and the bathroom which smelled like cigarette. Also the matress in the room was so used it felt like I was sleeping in a banana.... overall I don't recommand.

Loved It Before, But Disappointed This Time

I've stayed in ABVI 3 or 4 times before this stay, and it was a very clean, comfortable experience. This time, however, they were apparently short-staffed, so my room wasn't serviced Saturday, and I had to ask to get it serviced Sunday. Overall, it's a convenient very decent motel, and I fully expect these shortcomings to be temporary. And the price is very good. I would recommend it to others. Just ask when you check in that they service you room each day.
