The room had peeling paint. The mirrors were peeling on the wood. The fridge froze our water. The comforter had stains. I asked the parking not be added to my room. It was added anyway.

I booked my stay at the Horeshoe Hotwl thru Expedia. I purchased the travel protection insurance as I normally do in case anything comes up. Half way through my stay, I had an emergency at home. With the travel insurance I should've been refunded the nights of my remaining stay. When I checked out of the hotel, the person at the front desk said I would have to get a refund from Expedia, so I contactes Expedia. Expedia told me that they would need to speak to the hotel about a refund for the remaining nights of my stay. The Horeshoe Hotel basically told me to go pound sand, that they would not refund the remaining nights. What good is travel insurance then? The Horeshoe Hotel can got straight to hell as can Expedia. I would never use either one of them again. All they want is your money. They both can F^&K OFF!!!

It's honesty a pretty bland hotel. It doesn't have the draw that most other Vegas properties have (no theme, not really much for restaurants,or attractions) BUT it is in such a great location to so many things and has a monorail station to get you farther. Rooms were very clean,bed was very comfortable, rainfall showerhead with great pressure. I had a high roller view room that was awesome to look out at any time of day. Why pay more for a themed hotel when the Horseshoe is at the heart of everything, just a fewminutes walk from the things you want to see? (And connected to the Paris, literally just off the casino area). There is still a food court and a few gift shops as well as mini golf and an arcade at this resort.

I stayed in a king room and it was much bigger than I expected with a couch and chairs. The decor in the room is very red but contemporary looking. The check-in and check-out process was easy and the staff was very accommodating and handled my requests with ease. The property is walking distance to many of the best attractions on the strip and there's also a shuttle that runs from the hotel to anywhere along the strip which was very convenient. Food options were a little limited within the hotel but there's plenty of options around the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
