Overall: good value for price. The property is located at a convenient area where has lots of good restaurants. Checkin: smooth. the front desk has a person when we arrives. Facility: no elevator. The staff offers to carry our bags up. Room: small but bathroom is relatively bigger. Its a bit small to have a large suitcase open in the room. We stayed at the top floor and the room has no side window but only skylight that can open and close. Beds are on the hard side and comfortable to me. Amenities: has shampoo/conditioner/shower/lotion which are all pretty good. Has a small fridge and kettle too.

The hotel is a beautiful building. We were lucky to have a room with a great view of the river. It also smelled amazing, I could smell our hotel reception from down the street. The only downside was that we were on the top floor (only 4 floors) in a heat wave with no lift. But it would be difficult to have a lift in such a lovely, old building. Once in the room, the air conditioning was a relief. The staff are lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable.

Very nice accommodations. Very friendly staff. Clean room. Lots of stairs if on top floor. Water was always hot. Neighbourhood felt safe and quiet. It is also a very quick and safe walk to good dining, shops, and tourist areas.

I loved my stay at Chiado 44 and would recommend it! Only thing to keep in mind is that it’s an older building with no elevator! Lots of stairs to get to the apartment! But other than that, I had a pleasant stay! The location was great and the receptionist/hostess was very helpful with tips etc

Wonderful spot in the Historic district, convenient to everything and the staff were lovely and helpful. The toughest thing was all the stairs up to the room! But then Portugal is about walking on hills too!
